er yes and no

Staining paint is bad, simple as that, not about bling, not about looking good, if I wanted that I'd head for a gym more often:rolleyes:

Paint that stains clothes designed for paintball, plastic, sup-air fields, stains locations, equipment and spectators.

Say some of the paint shot at Campaign stained the astroturf quite badly and there were pnk or yellow blobs all over the turf that couldn't be removed.

Think the owners would appreciate that?

When Bully ran the tourney at Meribel Stadium he had people sweeping the running track with soapy water to wipe off the paint and keep the track clean. Do you honestly believe that the owners would have let us back to a great venue if we'd stained the track?

Sometimes you have to think of the wider issues behind comments. I've said it before my other half has had clothes ruined whist spectating, now she knows better than to wear anything otehr than her paintballing gear but at the MM6 there were kids running around the fields in clothes and masks and I'm sure their parents would be overjoyed to find permanent pink stains on their clothes!

Yes I'm pissed about my shiny new team top getting badly stained on it's first outing, is it the end of the world, no.

But then again, staining paint is SUPPOSED to be banned by tournaments isn't it?

So why is it out there, what the hell is it, and more importantly at the moment why hasn't any tournament organiser said they're looking into it?

Oh and robtattoo I treat my marker extremely well, because if I don't when I need it to it probably won't work!

this staining is getting out of hand we came back from ancaster the weekend and every top in the team has stains on them the colours are pink and a yellow fill now which ever PAINT COMPANY this is can you please sort it out as we are paying a lot of money for custom made shirts not to be throwing them away after 3 events because they are stained really bad i thought the paint produced was meant to be biodegradeable and none staining i have even tried using vanish stain remover on my own shirt and the stains still aint budged so can we please look into this problem

Well after Ancasted most of our tops have nice pink stains on them - now its not the end of the world because we expect to play in them and get them dirty.

But I know staining paint shouldn't be used, and I believe the paint I was hit with was nelson paintballs

yes I Know we're going to be hit.. but that has never bothered me prior to the paint staining my kit...

I agree that tops are going to get dirty when used but not stained....

Nickp I wasn't trying to say that in a manner of it doesn't matter!, its just we havn't forked out loads like some of you guys to get nice custom ones done which are blemished by staining paint, to be fair if we did I probably be more pi$$ed about it.

But you are right the paints shouldn't stain!

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
Custom Ones

Well even off the shelf tops can be expensive by the time you've had player and team names printed on.

I think we payed about £35 each for our spangly new ( now pink stained   ) Nexed tops.

£35 x 16 = £560
Printing 16 x £5 £80

Admittedly not all of the tops are stained yet....only 7 have been worn! So its a lot of money to spend for them to be damaged first time out!

And so it goes on!!! Nobody is able to actually put a name to the staining paint every team sponsored by all different paint companys is gonna say it aint my paint that stains maybe someone could do a test of all the paints and see which stains if any. The other thing is after a days play or even three days play of paintball using the same top getting shot on it does everyone put their kit straight into the washing machine to get it clean!!! I know i dont when uve just got back after a 2-3 hour drive been up since stoopid o'clock to play 'ball the last thing your gonna want to do is think ooo i must put my kit in the wash and get those nasty stains out where did i put me daz!!!
Its paintball you get grass stains you get mud stains ie Elsham this year you get anything and everything that can be put on your kit ends up on your kit!!
Yes kit costs money but we aint here for a fashion parade we are here to play ball dont matter what you look like its if you can do it that makes the difference. You dont hear teams walking past each other saying " ooo loook at his top all nice and clean i must ask the what they use to get the stains out" Just play ball take the dirt and the grime with the thrills and the excitment play hard play fair and lets get off the subject and think of summat else better to moan about
P.s If im totally wrong i'll get me hat and coat;)
