Thanks Robbo - my sentiments exactly. Apology would have been nice. Looks like he has gone back into hiding.
Managed to flush him out by speaking to Vanguard and they contacted him. I hope I don't have to go down that route again as it isn't exactly professional and it doesn't look great for his team. He's meant to be taking a Demon out next week to the Super5s too.

No one can understand why he is treating me like this - lots of people say it isn't like him - so why has he taken it upon himself to be like this with me? Makes no sense.

Sounds stupid to get so wound up about things but I have barely been sleeping the last few nights and keep getting stress pains :/

Almost an hour since I called and texted him and no reply back. I wish I had just gone with my gut and bought a new Etek 3 off of my local site instead :/

Tried calling and texting again - still nothing.
Left more voicemails for him.

Seems like the ONLY way to get a reply is for me to contact Vanguard and they seem to get him to respond. I shouldnt have to do this!

He has until the end of the working day (5pm) to make contact otherwise I am contacting Basingstoke Police to report him. I am tired of trying to get hold of him when he clearly is hellbent on ripping me off and making me suffer.

Can you please message me his details anyway, name, team, mobile, home number etc etc ....
The last thing we need is a company such as Vanguard somehow getting involved because of one ignorant idiot.
It's always seems to happen this way, in that one bad apple causes problems for others merely by association.
This will be resolved by you getting what you want and him apologising for what he's done .... It's just so damn rude and unnecessary and so easily avoidable.

Posting the above in case he deletes the threads on the forums again.

From speaking to DHL, he DID take it to a Service Point at Staples yesterday. However, it was sent as Standard Service, so not next day (up to 48hrs) - useless as I needed it for tomorrow. Now I have no way to test the marker out before D10 and worse still, it will be another 2 weeks until I can close this issue. It is also no longer at the site. They are going to speak to the lady who dealt with him as it looks like she may have let DHL take it without scanning it to say they've picked it up.

Either way, another lie. He told Vanguard and me that it was sent for next day delivery. Not true. Standard Parcel is up to 48hrs. I wish it was still at the Service Point so he could take it back. I have zero enthusiasm for the marker anymore as it has been tainted with such negativity.

If he would refund me, I would send it back to him IF it ever arrives.

DHL on the blower.

They have opened up a search for the parcel. It is 100% not at the Service Point and hasn't been seen. Which means either it was taken without scanning anything further (unlikely as if DHL DID pick it up, it would show up when it was scanned at whatever point). Which leads to possible theft / misplacement at the Service Point.

DHL will update me on Monday.

Good luck with DHL mate, they can be a nightmare, we eventually moved over to TNT it was so boring dealing with their cock ups day in day out. Does seem odd for them to collect a parcel and not scan it though, so with luck it'll turn up at the local depot as an unscanned parcel and get lumped into the system fairly swiftly.

Got to echo the previous comments about Mick, known him for years and never expected this kind of service from him, although I do know he has been going through some strange times recently and seemed to disappear from the face of the earth a while back too, trust is an easy thing to lose!

Hey Wildwayz, i just thought i'd post up and say something as i have been following this on our forum as well as here, but i would just like to say that a few of us from the squad are struggling to get our head around Micks behaviour as well and with no explanation coming out of his end then of course it doesn't look good. If Mick has pulled a fast one, then he has everything coming to him. i honestly do hope that you get your money back like you have asked and that it was just a very bad F*** up on Micks part.

But i would ask of all people looking at this thread that you don't tarnish us all with the same brush, im aware of how powerful these forums can be, so much so that i have pulled my son from his first tournament just in case it all turns a bit nasty at the S5's next week because of this (you never know). Just to correct a few things though, Mick doesn't own or run the Squad, if it wasn't for the likes of myself, tait (lettucecheesecake) and a few more then Demo would have folded at the back end of 2010, but because we obviously had a obligation with Vanguard at the time we struggled to get a competitive team again to take part in tournaments, the only thing that Mick has control of unfortunatley is the team forum hence the disappearing posts

Wildwayz, please keep our forum updated as you get things or solutions coming in and we hope that it becomes resolved and that your stress levels return to normal.

so he has been out in a field all day until late
it is also true that his van broke down and he had trouble getting about
i (hopefully) will be seeing him tomorrow and find out what's been happening
i don't believe for one second that Mick is trying to rip you off he is a stand up guy who most on here who know him will agree with its just circumstance
i know this will be resolved to your satisfaction soon

I don't know how it can be resolved now. He let me down big time. I needed it for tomorrow, he knew that.
He has lied to Vanguard about posting it out - I don't believe for one second that it had been sent when he told them.
He never replied to any calls or texts or emails or posts.
Even when I DID get in contact, he never once said sorry. **** happens in life - if he had issues then TELL ME. I know stuff happens and we can't all make it to post things - but it is the total ignoring of all contact that gets me.

I've lost faith in him and the deal. I don't know if the marker will ever come. If it does, I don't know if he's done something to it. I certainly have no oppotunity to test it out before District 10 so if it IS faulty, then that has ruined that weekend instead of giving me time to resolve any issues before D10.
I was SO positive about this deal and now I wish i'd never came on here trying to find a marker. I should have learnt from my experiences 5 years ago when I used to do paintballing and just bought new each time. Now I can't buy off the forums as I will always remember this negative and frankly health threatening experience. I wasn't joking about stress levels. I have been seeing spots at work, snapping at work colleagues, not sleeping, chest pains. It isnt right and the ONLY thing Mick can do to resolve this issue, is issue a refund and an apology.
He can then deal with DHL with locating the marker that has dissappeared as I can't cope with dealing with that **** too.

In all fairness to Vanguard, they have been remarkable with trying to help me - but this was my only oppotunity to own and shoot one of their markers. I will never be able to afford one new and I will never purchase 2nd hand again.

Here's an email I sent Vanguard back on Monday when I was contacting them (cheekily, I had asked them previously if they do personal sponsorship in return for me devoting time at big games and walk ons to let new / intermediate paintballers have a go on a Creed (newbies are scared to try expensive markers):
Out of all the markers out there, I have bought a Vanguard Creed v2 off of a UK Based Creed Tech called Mick - looking forward to it arriving! I chose the Creed as I believe in Vanguard and your products!

I have some questions though;

Do you have any techs going to Super6 in Nottingham in Feb that can service the marker and make sure all is good with it? Just to be 100% sure it has all the latest parts and board upgrades.

Do you have any .685 fronts in splash blue kicking around, if so how much?

Also, do you have any gun oil in stock and barrel socks?

Thanks and I look forward to using the Creed!
And now look at where I am right now. Sad and depressing and as I said, whilst Vanguard have been brilliant I guess I am destined not to shoot their markers.
