Even though I am not a big fan of the word rad, I must point out that only those that really have no clue, would now start using the word krunk. It has in fact been in use for many a year already (one only needs to listen to the song Rosa Parks by Outkast for example to realise it has been around since the mid nineties at least).
It saddens me to see that the avarage white kid needs to start talking an outdated version of Ebonics in order to try to be cool.

Those who speak true Ebonics would know that in fact the old skool is coming back (yes, retro is the thing ONCE AGAIN), and the words def and fresh are in style again this year.

Oh, and it is always fresh to talk like an ese.

GK, I tried, dude.

As to the rest, you're wasting your time. The Eurokids only know cool when it kicks them in the a** and even then they're always a few months behind. All the hatin' is a desperate attempt to convince themselves they's really superior even when they spend every waking minute copying their lives after 15 year olds on PBN. It's especially telling when grown men like Intheno and Manike have to build themselves up with English snobbery. I mean, heck, 5 years from now there won't even be an England. Then they can pump themselves up with their equality to the French.:p
And this national indictment comes from a man whose country is now about as popular as the Ebola virus....

We don't need to assume any form of snobbery to look down on you guys, all we gotta do is just open our eyes :)

While in a lot of the world, that holds true, there are still more people trying to move in than move out. Heck, people try to float here through 50 miles of ocean storms on barges made from inner tubes and barrels... I think that's how Manike got here.

And the women are better looking too. ;)

RE Limeys

How is that an insult? It dates back to when the royal navy used to carry limes aboard their ships effectively eliminating scurvy amongst the crews. At the same time as the American navy were suffering from rampant scurvy.

It boils down to "ha, ha, you have found a simple and effective cure that we can't be bothered with... oh dear I’ve got scurvy"

RE imitation

Yes, the dregs of our society do try to imitate the dregs of yours. But have you noticed how a lot of what America has to be proud of is an imitation of the UK. Whenever they want to try and appear to have tradition they copy something British, whenever they want a building with character they copy a British one (or take it apart and reassemble it in the US).

So depths of society across the world imitate the Americans, those who aspire to something better imitate the British. ;)

They tried to copy us with New York, but it looks nothing like York.

And who would ever think of copying Birmingham?? I'm hoping Alabama came up with the new improved version

As I opened with "Eurokids"--that pretty much leaves you out of the equation despite being young at heart, Pete. ;) And all the hate just makes it sadder. Every Coke y'all drink and every Mickey D's you eat is apparently an act of self-loathing as I don't recall forcing those things on you peeps at gunpoint. Come to think of it I don't notice any refutation of the basic point at all. :D

PS--Jay, how's the autobiography, "Black Like Me" coming along?

PPS--SH, Limeys, huh? That was out of the blue. Who said anything about Limeys? Your example of clever Brits, stupid Americans might be more convincing if it wasn't a coupl'a centuries old. :)

Oh come on, you ain't gonna equate the drinkin' of a coke with the advocacy of another state's policies and behaviours, surely????

The adoption of American culture and mannerisms in a pathetic attempt to look cool is I suggest, an illness duuuuuuuude rather than a conscious nod of approval toward your culture.

I liken it to smoking, seems like a good idea when you wanna look kool within your peer group but when you know the real story, all you wanna do, for the benefit of your health is give it up....but for some, it's too late :)

Understand me bro?

1--Of course I don't and I never did. State and Culture aren't synonyms. You're the one trying to change the frame of reference here. I was responding to Manike and Intheno's "Stupid Americans, Superior Brits" chatter by pointing out virtually every Euroballer goes to silly extremes to take on every trapping of American "identity" they can in order to feel cool---so they (and whoever else) can make whatever claims they want 'cus Eurokids actions and behavior speak louder than their words.
2--neither an illness or a nod--a wholehearted embrace. It's movies, TV, music, clothes, food, language, etc.
3--Shoulder. Chip. On. I understand. :)

1. I would tend to disagree with this as I believe the US has managed to overthrow traditional distinctions and actually allowed your culture to become a synonym for the state but I do agree, I did change the frame of reference.

2. It started with movies, then progressed to Coke and the comprehensive embrace was finalised when it metastasised...any metaphors spring to mind????

3. Chip???? We call them crisps duuuuuude :)
