Outlawing moving down I can understand, but what is the reasoning behind this?
I think lee guested for a div 2 team for DMA then stepped down to Div 3 for Campaign to play with sinners, I think under the rules you can step down one div but can't then step back up.

correct me if im wrong

thanks guys

Ok i would like to say a big thanks to Joey for trying really hard to get us into div 2, she has tried really hard i have also spoken to Steve Morris on 2 occasions now and he did say to me he would come on paintballer and confirm my story that i have tried. I have also spoken to the person that does the millenium rules sorry not sure of his name but im sure iff you all want to speak to these people about us they will confirm that i am correct in what i have asked them.
Trust me guys and girls we really dont want to be playing in div 3 as i agree with you all we are a div 2 team. But unfortunatly we really wanted to play malaga as our end of season tourney and due to the millenium rules we had to go in as div 3 which i am not proud of.
Yes i have played most the milleniums this year i played dma with Sinners div 2 then amsterdam div 2 with Escaramouch I dropped to div 3 at Toulouse with the Sinners which i did not now would lock me and one of my other players in that division until we were registering out there which at that point was too late to do anything. And due to us only taking 7 players would mean the team going on the field with 5 players if me and darren pulled out.

So guys and girls i hope i have put the Red Heat sandbagging thing to bed and explained myself well. If any of you have any impact on the millenium organisers at all and can get them to bend the rules for RED HEAT i would be most gratefull and i will certainly buy you a few drinks in malaga iff you can get us in div 2 many thanks for reading but all i can do is appologise for any inconvenience it has caused anyone.............:(

don't worry Lee, the people who are claiming you're sandbagging would complain about everything.

Still, maybe Beard and the Millennium series will wave the rule on this ocasion in the name of fair play.

If not, i'm sure you guys will do well, tons of people will moan about it, and prove to the world that they in fact have no game, and therefore can only complain about those who do!

Looking forward to seeing you in Malaga Lee, and if we draw you, i'm going to shoot the **** out of your sandbagging ass! ;) :D

It's a good thing that Vipers have moved up a division too, they would have been forced to move up because some of the players played div2 at CC and would not have been eligable to move down for the last event.

Apparently they added a rule that states that players may not move down a division for the last event of the season. This is to stop Goose and Brockdorf from sandbagging in div 2 like they did last year ;) (congrats guys, point proved and change effected...)

I just found about it the other day when beard suddenly 'remembered it' doh!

Yeah, the Army of Sangbag-hunters found another victim. What bothers you all so much about it anyway?
There is more talk about shopping some poor *******s who 'should' (in someones elses opinion) be playing in a different division than there is about who wins the events. As soon as team lists are released there is this big stink about who is 'sandbagging'. Surely the people who were 'guilty' last time will be 'guilty' again this time, until the end of the season presumably.
Surely it has to wait until the strt of next season to be addressed, doesn't it?

Is it really such a huge deal? Seems like bollox...
