"Wolverhampton Red Heat are no more than 3 years old. Well what a start for a new team. The team have blitzed their way onto the tournament scene and upset more than a few teams who have usually held top spots, until now. This year culminating in qualifying for the "Sunday Club" at the world championships and eventually being knocked out during the semi-finals."

And your still in Div 3?

Div 3 ..............

In my opinion, ALL four of the UK Teams in Division 3 are sandbaggers plain and simple.

Impact UK

Does it matter how many events a team has played surely it should be done on results. A football team does not move up a division after they have been around x amount of years so why should a paintball team.

Pinchaaaay!

London Nexus - #77
div 3 teams stay in div 3 cause they are not good enough to be in div 2 or 1.

Div 2 teams stay in div 2 cause they ain't good enough to be in div 1.

But in any division, the winners that romp it every time round who do stay in that division = sandbagging mofo's.

Nuff said!

Burb,ur bang on there mate,we are 3 years old, thanks for saying "blitzed" but i wouldn,t put it exactly like that though,we,ve done well because we drop players along the way who can,t/wont keep up and add new 1,s,as does a lot of teams. We have spoken at length to Joey bout bumping us up as we don,t want to be in div 3 but we were told that as much as they(organisers) had tried to bump us up,we couldn,t(don,t know full details as it was captain doing the asking),either way,if we do well,we,ll look right chumps and if we do badly, same again. This will be our last time(def mine!) in div 3 ever as we feel we are good enuff 4 div 2,thats really where we want to be in malaga but can,t due to reasons beyond our control(smart move would have been to book in div 2 first off!).As for being in the sunday club this year, this is our first milly together this year,as we haven,t done one since last years c.cup though......Brian

I doubt that Joey would have told you that you were unable to move up. The schedules have not been done yet, and it would be easy to move you if you wanted. Teams are frequently moved last minute, Method at CC03 being a good example (Novice to Am). Teams also pull out at the last minute like Camp Tigers CC04  Shame on them.

Maybe you guys didnt want to pay the increased entry fee for Div 2?

01932865999 is the campaign office number, i am sure that joey will be able to sort you out. Just say that she has a great canadian accent and she will love you. She always gets mistaken for being an American and it makes her cry;)

Red Heat

Lee Burton, the team founder and Captain played other events this year with other teams in divison 3. (Norwich Sinners)

Lee is frozen to div 3 for the 2004 season. Because Red Heat is his team, and the team he is Captain of they are playing divison 3.

This is the first any only millennium series event the team has played this season.

If the team want to play Div 2 this is not a problem - but they will have to do so WITHOUT Mr. Burton.

Lee and I have discussed this to death! ;) And I have tried what I could to get the team with Lee into Div 2. Rules are rules though. Sorry for any inconviences.

Regards,

Joey

Viper has moved up to Divison 2.
