i was thinking about putting the mini in, but i have no first hand experience in any of its faults, just word of mouth. ie 'it chops more paint than it fires' and that its just an Automag with a new board...
word on that auto mag bit - take them apart and they are exactly the same - according to a guy i know

Then he is a silly person. Apart from the fact they both have a bolt running on a central tube and returned by a spring they are about as different as two guns can get:)

As for the Stakos it's either a bad batch of bottles or the theory is correct that Luxfer and H-Pac have captured an alien queen and are milking it for horrid goo which they then surreptitiously introduce to Stako bottles and no others during filling using technology they stole from Area 51. I know which I believe, bad batch indeed:rolleyes:

It's ok, call him a fool and tell him I sent you:)

The mag is a stainless steel marker with a blowforward bolt holding back pressure from an internal regulator with a mech on/off valve to control flow. Pulling the trigger releases the bolt which slides down its guide and at the end of its travel releases the stored air like a champagne cork, with the on/off sealing the air flow to prevent wastage. The Mini uses a very clever system of moving air to the back of the bolt in two stages to move it forwards and at the same time releases air that's held behind a poppet valve, allowing it to open and release a blast of air that magically helps the bolt forwards before firing the ball. Both bolts are returned to the rest position by a spring but that really is the only likeness, that and the fact they are both tiny single tube markers.

I don't know about vlocities, but people crack/snap halo and empire necks all the time. You probably don't hear people complaining about it though because halo/empire don't say their shells are unbreakable. When people's supposedly 'unbreakable' shells break then they start complaining.
oh, the shells are alot easier to replace aswell i suppose.

Breakaway, if Ollie says anything about markers .. then trust me it's correct mate!
The man's a top authority on anything to do with paintball hardware and as for being worried about calling your mate a fool, no worries mate, I'll do it for ya, 'ere mate, you're an idiot' !

I owned an Automag for 7 years so I'm qualified to call him an idiot :)
