Speaking from a players point of view I didn't have a problem with any marshalling, I thought they did well considering some of the **** they had to put up with, in my view it seemed to be more of a problem with what you might class as more experienced teams. Their mentality sucked big style it was almost like because they felt they were so good how dare anybody eliminate them. I think another problem was the paint, the Zap chronic that was being used wasn't breaking on impact (because its so damn hard) and there were plenty of calls of over kill. The marshalls kept control very well even when threatened with physical violence (on field 3 I think, Closest sup'air).

Oh yeah and Jono if you want a quick chat with me could you do it before or after the game, not during!, especially after I'd lost my hopper on the way to the bunker. Besides that it was good to put a face to a name, sort of. :p :D

Thats a nice comment on the Zap chroinc paint by a diablo sponsored player, I actually used that particular brand of paint and found it to be pretty good. it flew straight and it did break, if it didn't we wouldn't have won any games, wouldn't have placed and wouldn't have been able to thank Zap in our acceptance speech.

Hey I don't mean to dis the chronic, I seen and used it, and yes it does fly straight and true but you've got to admit it's a little on the hard side. We we're sat talking to marshals our last game of the day (on the far sup'air field) and the stuff was flying over the netting and hitting us. I could practically pick it up and stick it in my hopper and re use it. I didn't of course!

Marshalls

Come on guys the marshalls have a enough **** to worry about at these games , Ok some of the guys were not as experienced as others BUT if we didnt have them then would we be playing Idont think so .Put your self in his shoes whats the younger guys thinking if he makes the wrong call is that player going to give me a kicking ( dont say that, That wouldnt happen cause it did, on field 3) If a marshell makes a call in your favour do you say hold on there judge that paintball did hit, I dont think so!! If your thinking that you would walk of the field then 99% of us a lying.
As blakey said at the captains meeting Any **** and your banned Well just think how your team would react if that happened to you :( on a good point the marshalls on field 4 were fantastic well organised, polite and most importantly FRIENDLEY:cool: so come on guys lets not give them hell they dont have to be there.....?
cheers again

RE ROB

Anyone who knows rob will have took his comment about the marshals being ****! as a joke because that was what it was meant to come across as.IF Anyone has taken offence to this then we (JCS INFERNO) apologise. At all tournaments you will get good and bad marshals the team in general thought that the standard was fair for such a new series. What i did find disturbing was the lack of saftey for people spectating (eg crono's set up in the middle of a walk way)also teams set up in the car park firing paint as others were going to the butty van.Blakey i hope you dont think that i am slagging your series off as i know from experience you cant get everything right straight away.I hope that you will look at this issue and do your best to improve on it.
The site was fantastic and i hope steve will use it for the series 2003 a lot of hard work went into the fields and the safe area.
Good luck blakey and phil for the rest of the series hopefully we will make it to another event later in the year(if were not banned haha) hope to see ya soon :)
