No, it's kinda like saying that the chief executive of a player's association/union shouldn't be a player. And that's standard practice - you let the players play, and you hire someone else to administer the organization whose primary expertise is administration, not play.

BTW, NPPL is a player's organization.

And since I'm too lazy to look it up myself, where does it say in the rules that coaches/whatevers should not be allowed on teh field after a game?
I'm just as lazy. :)

I think seeing the video would clear some fog up....

Come on give it up....

And I think a version of Hello magazine for paintball is the best idea that was laid down on this thread.... without forgetting Raehl ball....

Is it truelly defence, or would it be provoking an already bad situation. Would you be willing to sacrifice any chance of winning that tournament, and waisting all that money and valuable time for the sake of protecting someone.
I sure as hell wouldnt!

Having seen what went down it was hard to stay out of it - but we did and we are glad too because we aent that sort of team.

But when 5 of their guys have your coach and friend in a head lock and are kicking, kneeing and punching him we were lucky the refs at our end made it clear we should stay where we were.

Ledz kept control, we kept our heads and the refs eventually sorted it out.

I'll not write what I think of Rage - their efforts over the season speak for themselves.

Pete was happy to go with the decisions made after - and he didnt go down despite the overwhelming odds. That seemed to please him!!

He gets my support, and Nexus' through all of this

You might want to have a look outside your country. Most player organisations in Europe are run by the players and/or their agents...
Jeez, even Lech Walesa (Hey TJ, never expected to see him again in a thread, did ya?) was still a factory worker while he was head of the Solidarity Union...
