You all have it wrong. The Haitians are about to discover Florida, in like 3 or 4 years. I read somewhere on a foreign exhange board, and you should always believe what you read , that China has been making a fortune on it's trade with the US.

The value of the dollar is lowering that and causing China some trouble, but changing the value of the "Yuan" or what it is called the chinese currency, would cause price increases in the US.

But also, it was stated, that it's mostly China's central bank that has been funding the US deficit for quite some number of years, and in effect been buying the US, for more than 1 billion USD a day, for all those years.

Why, they might claim that Tawain is part of China! And America might not stand up to this aggressive behaviour! And a democratic nation might be subsumed by a communist oligarchy with no respect for the theoretical underpinnings of our economy, intellectual property rights! Nah, never happen.
