the pa is officially the most sucky league in england

My thoughts in words.

Question is, are Tigers gonna bother anymore when the pro series is released? After all, Shock and Nexus aint..

Why travel so far to play against lesser teams when you can bash heads with better teams elsewhere. Dartford 7's people, Dartford 7's..

personally i cant see it matski
Once this professional league is set up i think it will affect the Pa in a big way.
As long as the pro league is compiled of 'the' best teams in the uk and not a case of who you know etc, you get my meaning ;)
Its a chance for all the top teams to bash heads and i for one will be looking forward to it.
In recent times its got a bit lame to be honest in the suposedly top/pro/div leagues

Isnt there something about leaving the PA and still being liable for the entrance costs? In any case the Tigers have enough players to field a lesser team at the PA if needs be.

From what I have been told about the contract, and the PA's changes, it is largely unenforcable.

Yes they do, but why bother? With the amount of contraversy, rumours and lies flying around on here it's clearly a clown show...

If the Pro Tour (link below) is gonna be the bees-knees showcase of paintball for the UK.., well you can't even get into it by doing well in the PA! Where does that leave teams who wanna progress.....

Strategically a team like Tigers or similar would be better off having a team hammer everyone at midlands masters all year in div 1, and get 2 teams in the Pro Tour league, than going all the way to ancaster to play on poorly reffed fields for nothing....Certainly from a sponsors perspective Pro Tour will be getting more coverage.

From what I hear there was no mention of ramping in the contract that teams signed and now they have introduced it without informing people in writing etc? Your paying for a service that has been altered from that which you agreed to pay for in the first place.
Theres plenty of things that could be used to show the agreement has become 'aggravated', health and safety issues you 'feel' have emerged and were not made aware of, lots of things.
I havn't even read it myself, but from what I hear I would not worry about being "sued on behalf of uk paintball" or some crap like that.
If they did try to sue, it would be much more complicated than "you said you were gonna pay for every event so pay us". At the end of the day both parties have obligations and if they have not dotted every 'i' and crossed every 't' on their part, they have nothing solid.
It'd be simpler and cheaper for them to just get another team to enter- nobody likes people who go around threatening to sue all the time anyway...*cough sp*.... Hatts? has Shockwave just itching to get in apparently:rolleyes:..You can tell Kyle is excited already!:p

Seriously, this isn't Ally McBeal, I wouldn't think there will be any teams getting sued by anyone for leaving any league right now. Last time I checked we were playing paintball - not selling arms to 3rd world country's.

I think all this talk of teams getting sued/not sued, contracts and the like is a little bit Mrs Mopp

It is yep:), but people do seem to think that the PA are going to come after them if they decide to play elsewhere...

I just wanna see how teams feel about playing the PA when it won't help them get into the pro league...If teams wanna get recognised, more sponsors etc...you gotta go to where the coverage and the kudos are..
