from what youre saying anyone who has debounce settings on there markers are cheating or intending to cheat,which is wrong and not fair as the debounce can't be adjusted during a game [/B]

If the marker when it is checked by a ref shots only once for each pull or ten times for ten pulls!, and you can not change anything on the field, the marker is fine to use in the UK.
If you can change the debounce setting during a game and as such change the rate the marker fires, that is not allowed at all,
And you could end up with a very long ban.

and how many times have you had the settings tested on your marker? the point is this does not happen ever!

in Olso, how did a gun (not mentioning names) get past the chrono on the way on the field and then get pulled for TB or ramping after the game? if it was set correctly to pass the chrono judge at the beginning, and did so! then it must have been changed during the game!

You must not be able to change setting's on any gun without first opening the grip frame (or other part) to gain access first.

I'm getting confused here....... what about the E-blade? you just have to hold down some buttons? or the Timmy (WAS board..... de bounce is accessed by fiddling with the buttons flanking the LCD) or am I confusing the issue with something else?

you need to take the grip off an E-blade to get in and change the settings

every gun has its tricks but what russ is saying that is a marker passes chrono and passes a refs inspection and is then checked later and it is set differently and now fails the test then it has obviously been changed inbetween and this in itself is a serious offence.....not just the fact that the marker is running illegally but that it has been changed during a game etc

oh and even the e1 (ive not tried an e2 yet so cant comment) has a little trick that not everyone knows.....i can set mine so that it will not bounce at all.....then 3 seconds later bouncy bouncy bouncy full auto at silly bps and it is VERY easy to do if you know how..........and no dont ask because i wont tell you how to do it, and no i dont do it eather before anyone asks....i know how to steal cars but i dont do that eather.
oh and this trick isnt some kind of hidden feature that planet tried to keep quiet or anything daft like that....nor is it a special feature on sponcered teams markers or anything, all e1's can do it.

but atleast it isnt like the 187 mod for the was board, atleast you can turn it off...well change the setting..but yea every1 seems to be getting into it now....the force 4 has the ramping settings aswell.

Not 100% true! dirt/paint/etc can get into your switch/trigger and make it bouncy as ****, have seen this many times being unable to get a marker to stop bouncing till the trigger/switch area has been cleaned!

Russ, so you're saying that any marker which can bypass the eyes is a no no in the uk? As in most cases when an ACE is bypassed rof is[/f] effected, granted 'normally' to a lower figure but still changes the rate the marker will fire.

sorry mate but i did understand your reply, and there are loads of markers that allow user setting changes without removing grips etc! yes they should be in Tourney mode, but have you ever been checked? i havnt - not that i need to now as the Nexus Cocker i am lucky enough to be shootin is 100% tourney legal!

anyway i have mentioned this in a few other threads over the past couple of years and it still stands - the gun cheats we need to catch are software embedded and the code to unlock them (trigger pulls and button press sequences) and we do not have any answers for these.
