i agree and will not mention the word Democracy again (oh ****e done it!!)

i think i may the labelled idealist that pete is refering too. but i dont care cos i got big shoulders too!

so Pete if it is left up to your select 3, when do you forsee their delivery of the chosen format and principles for us all to admire?

Well, it ain't up to me, events are gonna unfold along lines which mostly include Millennium and Pure Promotions personel controlling the process with the Millennium I believe, trying to please as many as possible.
I would advocate Sergei, Laurent and Ged purely for clarity and expertise believing that anybody apart from these guys would not be adding anything significant.
I don't think Sergei will be part of the decision making process at all and at this stage, the Millennium Board have to negotiate a considerable hurdle before they even get down to the business of organsing any change for next year.
Whatever is decided, I know one thing, somebody is gonna be pissed off, it just remains to be seen, who and how much but such is the naure of revolution..or is it evolution ?

Actually - as this is supposed to be a league for the benefit of the players (short and long term), it might be a good idea to incorporate those two principles

And - I maintain - that however visionary those 3 individuals may be, I am sure they are clever enough to take other peoples input into consideration..... any good leader does that.

If they didn't, they would not be the right people to run this thing !

agreed! but i am of the understanding if you sit back shut up and wait, then when it goes in a direction that you do not like than your chance has passed and you then become a whinger!

it is a shame that it is only 4 or 5 of us with opinions willing to air them.

although i am a realist and accept that what we are saying may be completely a waste of our time, we should still use this forum for its intended purpose, to air our views!

Hardly a mantra but Nick, I don't give two ****s if it pisses you off, it's my opinion and if u think this thread has gotten us any closer to clarifying the direction we need to take then you need counselling.
If I can hand over responsibilty to others believeing they are better equipped than myself to make any decision then who the hell are you to question me ?

now you two have tickled each others bellies can we get back on to some debate?

is there any plans to change the boring flag at each end format? maybe incorporate a X-Ball themed setup? if we are gonna play more quick turnaround games in a new format this could add to the excitment!
