Potentially great UK teams that never made it (To the top).

Following on from Petes points above, the Rushers had several componants mis-firing in the set up, the heart of which won't be mulled over here.

What I will say is the the team operated as Pro's in the domestic scene and were arguably second only to Shockwave.

Still lets not forget that 4 of those 7 players are or have been Nexoids!

What about the Beastie Boys?
They had some good results domestically, don't think they went abroad much. WDP sponsored though and I knew captain Rob Jeyes, his Angels were awesome. Never saw the team with gun probs. And his brother Alex could play any position.

I started playing pball at the time the Beastie Boys were considered a good team. All I saw was flashy new angels, and not much talent, cause we were beating them within a year of starting up.

No offence to the BB's. I was damn jelous of those guns :) I had to go out and buy one.

no way man. beastie boys were wicked. they were only a scratch team to play in uk.

but some of the players were awesome.

especially ross gill. he was a natural born killer, he won the infamous 5 on 1 against dynasty whilst playing for shockwave.

Dead on matey. ROss was easily the best front player in europe never to make it. Its sucha shame politics of any sort can just kill potential.

The BB's rocked when they were on form but i think an unsettled and tempestuous roster always meant it was never gonna happen. I remember being at countless meetings where it looked like it might work but it always ended up falling apart. The one brother who did do well is of course dale from the jags!
