Be the exact same as asking if football, boxing, wrestling, dart-throwing, target shooting, or anything like that was "moral". As a real christian, it's disheartening to see other christians say stuff like that, because that's what puts people off of church, christianity and God all together. 'Cause real christianity ain't supposed to be about "religion" and all kinds of BS rules put in place by self-righteous, hypocritical humans, it's supposed to be about faith in God and salvation by grace. All idiots like that do is give people opposed to the idea of God more material to work with and make them more bitter.
I didn't read anything past about the first half of the first post. I reckon that's about all that you'd have to read to get the jist of it.
Executive summary: this kiddo believes, in his heart of hearts, that because it involves guns, paintball is bad, m'kay? Pretty much everyone else is saying "don't be a dick, it's only a game" (well they would, but because they're His Children they have to say things like "bringing us closer to Him.") I feel ill already. So he's saying the new grand fromage of his local christian yoof centre (and his boss, or whatever they have in these places) is a paintballer (scandal!) and wants to let the kids play (oh, the humanity!) So he feels obligated to step down from his post because he's got a broomstick up his arse.
There isn't much intelligent debate in there, mostly inane drivel about "causing his brother to stumble", and it seems to be him v. everyone else (everyone else is, however, too polite and brotherly to tell him to get a life.)
