Oliver Stone presents 'Pasture of Dreams'

Ex-Fun Police
All the ingredients are present--competing leagues, formative, fledgling pro ball, smoky back rooms, money men, snipers, collegians, on field brawls, invisible refs and more.
Since Robo's being a bore and holding out on us what's a fellow supposed to do other than start a contest for the most outrageous, improbable conspiracy theory on how all this will turn out.
Let's have predictions on what pball will be like at the end of October 2003; the year in results and how it all came about. :D

Actually

Pete's motives are considerably more noble as final deals aren't done yet so while he has the inside track on what MAY HAPPEN he's showing more restraint than 10 average men.
Doesn't mean tho I can't give him a hard time about it. ;)

So, c'mon, Oct. 2003--what happened?

Here goes...

X-Ball's first event ends up such a wreck that Richmond and the gang (minus Ed Poorman) sell their shares to Warped Sportz and Kingman. It then makes television by the next event due to the exceptional salesmanship of the two, and we witness the unveiling of the new, "Dark Spyder," which all participants are forced to shoot. Chuck's seven-man events become a feeder league for this new 'proffesional' format, and by season's end everyone on p8ntballer's talkin' contracts, and debating on who OBR should pick, first-round of the 2004 draft.

;) Maybe?

damn it flash,

do you ever leave the forums, i was going to mention a non us team being there.

Mama's crystal ball sez...

PSP reverts to standard tournament format by tha time Chicago rolls round, but it's too late to save them from tha substantial inroads made by Chuck's 7-Man NPPL, which is backed to tha hilt by JT and WDP and takes place in proper stadiums.

Dynasty and Lanche play in NPPL and keep coming across to Europe, whilst Trauma and Strange dominate PSP.

Brimstone Smoke kick Euro ass at tha Millennium Series.

Robo's Nexus start slowly but finish tha season looking like serious contenders.

I win tha Pulitzer Prize for my groundbreaking expose piece which proves once and for all that Tyger and Bob Long are ONE AND THA SAME PERSON. Think about it - you never see em together, do ya?

Team p8ntballer.com dominates Elsham and reforms for Toulouse with Cow,Manning and J-lo on side - and promptly bombs out...

:p

The CIA/FBI/BIN LADEN (pick your bad guy) have been proven to be behind the Salm incident, cause Avalanche are actually deep cover double agents, and they had been double booked to be at an espionage/playin-on conference that same weekend, ensuing DQ allowed them to attend the other event.

Seriously the end of next season will most likely be much the same as this one.
Anybody know if the next WC will be X-ball, or maybe 7 man, or will it stay the same as it is now.
