I've seen that kick ass drop at Angel Cup! You should see the new one I machined to get rid of the AIR mount plate now my drop mounts to the IR3 and Right to the AIR. :D

Why in the world do you have a 114 bottle????
Just get a higher psi bottle and an 88 tank.

I have a drop on my gun and I like it. It just feels right to me. As for the arm issue that is not a problem for me. My drop is pretty small so I just bring my arm down past the tank regulator, not over the tank, so I tuck my arm real well. I have just taught myself how to tuck it in.

it does depend on the air system though as a lot of screw-ins get so damm long a drop means they are still the same length as an AIR/Armie/Conquest etc and the bottle still starts behind the grip.

I use a 1.1 max flow with my Freak factory, and i dont use a drop. as beak illustrated i can wrap my forearm around the reg instead of the tank therefore not sticking my forearm out. my bottle sits on my upper arm.

although im considering upgrading to a 1.5 for more shots, will i still be able to get all snuggled up and tight with this size a tank?

Walker - yeah, shouldn't be a problem - just remember the squarer you are to the bottle the more it sticks out (like pic 1). If you turn so you hold your gun across your body that bit more the extra size shouldn't be an issue at all, might feel a bit odd at first but that's about it.

Rooster - try these pics - should show how I do it.

Main thing is to keep a straight wrist.

Should explain it.

I don't use one because I like my marker to settle in just like my entry carbine. That way the mechanics of shooting both are the same and I can get all the training I need at work. While my marker is not a real gun, my body mechanics don't change much to shoot it like one.

When you reply to a post or make one there is a button marked IMG click on that and follow the prompts However the pic you are trying to place in the post MUST be available online ie on webspace...not only on your computer, if you are unsure of exactly what I mean..go to your user options and turn off the "display IMG code in posts" doing this will allow you to see the pic "address" this will then explain it for your self (turn the option back on after you have seen how it is done).......note to TB-303 my image code display was off...so thats why your monkey didn't show to me..although what I was trying to say to you was just another way of doing it (sorry didn't realise there was 2 ways of doing it  )

Beaker I see what you are saying in your pics and understood before. But when I look at the pics from the front I see the profile is lower but in reality is that the way you hold your marker to shoot? I mean I hear so much about tucking the tank into the shoulder which by doing with or without the D/F I still get the rist bend and my profile is about the same.

One other thing... If I was getting shot out at tourneys in the wrist or forearm I could see that the D/F was causing me a problem. 9 out of 10 times it's Right corner of my Mask or Right side of my head meaning my marker is pretty concealed. But I will give it a swing without a D/F to see how it feels again.
