if i lived in america then im sure i'd pay the $10 but with the time difference it makes life a bit more difficult. perhaps do what one4one do and allow downloads of the coverage for people who are unable to watch it live.

I think its a good idea. It bypasses the need for it to be broadcast onto TV but also allows for the viewers to be monitored to then go and do a pitch to a TV broadcaster to further promote the sport. Having solid number to support a pitch is a major incentive for a program to get picked up.

Downfalls are that no matter which way you broadcast it on the internet it can be recorded, anyone with a basic understanding of video capture can pay and then record it for all his mates.

If you can create an incentive for viewers who pay like some sort of free prize that is drawn out from everyone from their paypal address or something like that it would draw more people to pay. It could be included from the sponsors who are advertising on the program, the larger the goodies the more people you will draw out. Knowing that fiver could get you a new marker is a huge draw even if you only watch five minutes of the games.

I have worked on many of these types of projects for the music industry, when you think of it the end uses have a broad way to expose the sport to a wide audience. Content could also be distributed via mobile phones, sold on Itunes etc.

I do hear the complaints about it being a live broadcast so unless there is a system set up where people pay and you log in to view that will have to be the way things are done.

All the best with it Nicky and NPPL folks.

I would probably pay the $10 if the Sunday was good and the feed was better than normal.

I think the charge would be reasonable if the service allowed you to download games and coverage for up to 5 or 7 days after the event.

That way, if there was a problem with the feed you could always go back and watch the games at a later date.

Maybe that could solve the feed problem complaints and let peeps get more enjoyement from the show by being able to review their favourite bits / Teams etc.

just a sugestion...

Its the time difference thing for me, I used to enjoy tuning in for an hour or two over the whole weekend, saying hi to Nick, making tea whilst anything but the pros were on and was happy with that. Won't be paying ten bucks for it.

Not that I dont think that it is good value for money, it is really, as long as the feed works and you have the time to site there and watch it.

Keep up the good work Nick.
