Now have to pay for the NPPL Live, $9.95 for the weekend.

So i found out today that the '08 Buffalo NPPL Live show will return to the Pay Per View format ($9.95 for the entire weekend).

This is a pivotal point in the NPPL Live show's history; as the success of the Buffalo NPPL Live show could well determine if there is an NPPL Live show in the future....

PLEASE TUNE IN!!!!

I've started a thread on the fans group so that you can air your thoughts...

Thanks,

Why don't you add a poll to this thread so that we can find out what people think.....

Personally i don't consider a fiver ($9.95) too much to pay for a weekends worth (three days!) of entertainment, especially if feed qualtity was upped becuase of it; but i'm definitely interested to hear what other people think.

Discuss....

will the feed quality actually be upped?

If i knew for definate it was and i wasnt skint i would shell it up cos i have nothing better to do these days.

Would there be an option to be able to download replays if you had paid so that if you missed any games you could watch them cos i mean lets face it - you can be sitting at your computer watching it the whole time and your bound to miss some.

agree with breakaway here.

due to the obvious time difference, it make it hard for us with family to actually watch all of the broadcast live, with the various other commitments that end up getting in the way. a download option would be great.

if there was also a guarantee that there would be better quality the $10 is pretty good.

until there is more info on these then i shall hold my vote (and my £5!!).

and i can't look at the facebook stuff due to work's damnable "nanny-state" filtering software.......

If in doubt, flat out!

Thing about the free broadcasts was, it was put out for free. So if the feed went down, or you couldn't connect, lost sound or anything like that. You weren't particularly bothered because it was free (although a great service).
Now if someone pays for a service, and they get the same issue's. They have a right to complain, you need some sort of support line for paying customers if they cant view the show.

I personally wont be paying for it, but only because its the first time (that i have seen) that the service was pay-per-view. After some feedback from the event i may consider otherwise

I disagree with this. Im normally quite busy on the weekends, so dont get to watch the WHOLE event. I just tune in whenever I am free. This is why I wouldnt pay for the coverage, and I think this will be the same reason why most people wont too!

Great comments/ideas and ones that i will suggest and post an update when i know definite answers.

The download option is a great one - but the reality is that i doubt they would want a way of people posting downloaded content for all to see.....hmmm lets wait and see what they come up with.
