Nexus Games at Huntington Beach...

rancid

Mother, is that you?
Hey geezers, let's get this into perspective - Nexus are going out there for the experience and practice, Robbo expects nout out of this tourny.

It's great to be supportive, but let's keep the hype in check.

And I hope the Brits on this site would offer the same level of support for other UK teams at other events.

All I can get from the guys is

that Nexus are playing loose and without much confidence...also they lost the toss against BF2 and were playing into the sun, which didn't help.

Now's the true test of character - they've got a little time to get their heads together after the first two games, so fingers XXd they'll start posting some points soon.

you're right

this is the first really important tournament they are playing!

too much pressure, sand fields... harder than usual!

but the best is the experience they are going to adquire!!

Ant says the fields and facilities are absolutely superb and it looks like it's going to be an absolutely awesome event...should have the Nexus/Velocity reult through soon.

Thanks duffy. Guess nicky is too busy to update me right now!

As Rancid said, they went out there for the experience not for the trophies. Any games they win is just a bonus for them.

How come TJ aint covering it? Isn't this his home turf?

;) :D :p

Rancid, I'll support any Brit team playing away from home :) . I'll support any Euro team playing in the USA :) I want to see Brit and Euro paintball move forwards. We need teams to support.

This is a high profile hyped event, they even hyped up the fact that Nexus 'a UK Super Team' were playing the event on the Super Seven website.

Like it or not, it wasn't the supporters that started the hype of this team. The team will have to ride it out. I don't see anything wrong with people hyping them and getting behind them.
