Nexus Games at Huntington Beach...

Looks like tha 'Xoids

learnt a lot this weekend.

Not an easy division in hindsight, when you consider Tontons and Dogs got 2nd and 3rd, Gateway got 3rd Am - and was that a coupla Bobby's boys on tha roster? - and BF2 got 3rd Nov. Four podium finishers in one bracket - ouch.

Still, it's nice to see you Euros making tha effort to come over - and all hail the Frenchies, hey? Good to see that tha French are leading tha Euro charge...:p

I watched game 5 vs that easy novice team

from the 50! You might want to stop calling them the superteam, we beat them in less than two minutes, and lost one guy on a run threw doing it and I got hit playing sloppy with the last guy. Sorry I know they are new. Aggressive moves, I'll give them that but they never got their guns up and protected their guys. The guy that made the sub off the break got hung out to dry. I know they are better than that game or their score shows, because they beat a very hot Ton Ton team. I really hope they make it back for another NPPL event. I'd like to see more teams crossing the atlantic both ways. It's been a goal of mine to play a millienium event for a while. Until this event I've never felt the teams coming to the event were getting their moneys worth and that the trip to Europe would be different. Hopefully the NPPLs effort to meet the millienium series quality standards will get more teams to come over. It's great that you guys support this team because it will certianly help them develope.
Cya in the middle.

well hello!

That picture is Jamie Abbott and Mr Potato Head Edwards playing the Angel field.

Nexus are now back from HB having learnt a lot. We started playing to our potential 6 games too late - not even the TonTon games was played as well as it should have been.

Nexus will be returning to the States for the Las Vegas leg of the NPPL Super 7 Series to put the record straight, we owe it to ourselves, our coach, our sponsors and everyone who has supported us.

Huntington Beach was the best tournament i have ever been to. WDP deserve a lot of praise for all of their efforts and i hope that more european teams will make the trip out to Vegas.

Thanks again for all of the support.

I got to meet some of the Nexus guys at HB. Nice bunch of guys. They definitely seemed to play better over the course of the tournament. The only game I got to see was on the NPPL field, which I think was a loss to STP (or someone in red jerseys, I don't remember that well). I'm looking forward to seeing how much you improve for Vegas!

My body clock is about 9 hours out of sync, but by looking at the boards I am simply amazed by the interest and support that many of you have shown over the weekend, which kinda makes me feel worse about the performance we put in.

I think the Tourny itself was outta this world, the sand was tough but then it was the same for both teams on the field and wasnt that bad once you had other things to think about during the game. - Certainly the best tournament I have been to so far. - Sun, sea, sand, bronzed chicks, beer, paintball and the list goes on and on and on. - The WDP boys along with Chuck did the paintball world proud! - Luvverly Jubberly

Thanx again for the support dudes, it means a lot and will be a major force to drive us to success.

Yoda, we still owe you a true performance!

Shamu, we only played the NPPL field once and won. - see ya in Vegas man!
