Yeah I read it, it still doesn't say that this type of trigger IS cheating. It may well become illegal, but it isn't at the moment :)

All high end guns can be set now to subtly bounce, and no matter what you do there will be an element which flaunt this. I can also understand from people like Russels point of view why it is such a nightmare.

All I'm saying is that something like Azzeh has suggested does to me have a viable marketing point as it stands at the moment, as it would not be deemed as cheating, which to be honest I don't think it is.

EDIT: had wrote more but in the interest of common sense ammended :p

So learn to use the equipment you have and stop thinking that a shorter trigger will make you a better player.
If you can fire now at 10 bps how fast can you fire with your idea.
This is actually completely nothing to do with what I have said. This wouldn't make the trigger pull shorter, it would just mean that you can change where the firing point it. You'd still have a 1mm pull or whatever, but you could pull it 3mm and release 1mm and still fire normally. In this way it probably would have a longer trigger pull than most ;)

Or rather than try and find alternatinve ways you and every other player out there could learn and train to shoot fast.....

Shooting fast is a skill, just like running fast, and so on. Why cant people train so that they can use their equipment properly rather than try to find ways of cheating the system?
How about we all play with non electros, as electros help you fire?
How about we all play with pumps, as semi automatics help you fire
How about we all throw paintballs at each other, as guns makes it easier to hit?

Its a new concept... for making a gun better. Thats how new guns sell and people don't stick with the automag or spyder they first played with.

Right, update on this.

It will have several advantages over the Piezo trigger:

It will have infinite movement (the piezo, legally in tourney, would only be able to have just under double the movement needed to activate the gun, meaning you're still going to hit the back)

It will be easier to make and adjust.

Any ideas?

EDIT: New Idea. Coil of wire and magnet - this would work like a piezo but with the advantage of detecting forward and backward movement. This would give you a long trigger movement but tiny firing pull
