I think that would be a good idea, I personally find it tricky to deal with extremeley short triggers. I dont see that as being illegal, because basically all thats happening is that the firing points are software controlled rather than hardware, its still a case of the trigger having to move forwards and backwards. Good idea :)

*waits for Smart Parts to take it*

Seriously though, is it something that could be done?

I must have some sort of rights to it, if not hard legally then because I don't understand copyright and things... (it would probably stand in court?) Oh well.

I think thats pretty cool. It depends if the trigger is deemed though as having to travel back to its original position though don't it?

With short trigger pulls I'm always a culprit of when I try and walk I short stroke the trigger and then it all goes to you know what.

This way I could pull it halfway back, all the way, a third of the way and it would still fire.

In principle I think this is great. Don't know the actual logistics of it though to try and do it :) Wheres the technical bods out there :)

A movement in the opposite direction to a pull! I can see the original idea by Azzeh working quite well actually.... I will have a think about how it could be done.

I think the easy way to do it would be to have a variable resisitor linked to acomparitors linked to a PIC, the comparitor would act as a kind of debounce, and the PIC would have to reguster a current increase & decrease (or decrease & increase)

Aha, but there is an element of release on mine!

Where are all the mods and big guns? Has none seen my thread yet?

Edit: Ok I didnt notice the extra page! Yeah I was thinking variable resistor or something, that way it would be changeable how much u have to move it backwards and forwards to count as a pull (ie. for when you realise its overkill) What is a PIC?
