Yes that right at the off- road action park. That was the original idea of what the RC track was going to be transformed into as the RC track wasnt doing very well.So this place is being held at off - road action park. The owner of that RC track told me the Irish guy was shutting them down to build a new quad bike track. I'll pop by tonight to be nosey.
Robbo,Combat UK, well, it all sounds fine and dandy i n terms of what you have writtenand I really do hope you live up to your claimed aspirations because at the very least, this sport needs new blood and I don't really care how we get it within reason, just as long as nobody gets fleeced or is deceived ..........
But please let me explain something Mr Combat UK, this site, is the hub of UK Paintball, this is not a boast, it is an observation and the reason I am even mentioning it is because if anybody starting up in paintball tries to fuhk over any ballers, then in a heartbeat, your company name and business will be plastered up in lights on this board and your chances of financial survival are basically zero.
Now, if you disbelieve this in any way, there was a guy on here who was running an outfit that was basically taking the pi$s out of my members at events .... he was supplying the air services; this guy was an idiot and was compromising player's safety because of a shoddily run service ... within a week, his appearances at events went to zero because he was named and shamed on these boards [and rightly so] and as a consequence, we hear of him no more.
If you are an honest man and not on some quest to dihk people over, then we need more of you and I wish you nothing but luck, especially if you are trying to create new players [albeit for your own business] ..... please be nice to your customers and these boards will be nice to you ....
Robbo,
we are not out to rob anyone. if anything we are out to help people. As having our own paintball site for the past 6 years we have had plenty of queries about a tournament site which is exactly why we have decided to do this.
Once the site is built we will post pictures up so you can see exactly what we have done.
We have posted this thread to get feedback of what people think of the idea and so that we can make it as best as it can be for you, the players.
If you have any more questions about it all ring us on 01268 725600 to find out more.
I don't know about what anyone else feels, but i certainly get the feeling that some people wish this to fail before its even started..
Yes the guy made a mistake with a misleading title, but from what i have read it seems near on everyone who has posted has been annoyed by a new site..
As most of us know value for money is a must and i for one with two teams look for a site that offers a safe enviroment and has the players best interest at heart..
As i see it at present we have two sites in the whole of the uk that offer this, and to me this is by far not enough...
I understand some of the concerns but hey, why not give these guys chance to prove what they are offering before anyone makes judgement..
As they say the proof is in the pudding, so lets watch this space and see what develops..
All i will add is that i hope that you make sure that you ensure all players that attend for event's are holding UKSPF Cards..
What you do for private functions is upto you, but as a tourney player i would want to see this enforced...
Anyway thats my 2cents worth...
Thanks guys you have cleared up alot of my in head questionsNow that i know the location of this "New" training site i can back up some of their promises.
