Buddha, its quite clear that he has not passed an English test nor has he ever heard of the English language and is just hitting keys in a random order based on what other people in thread wrote.

I failed my first test because on the emergency stop, my front brake cable snapped so I had to slew the bike sideways crosser stylie to avoid giving the numpty examiner a frontways bum crease! :p
No sense of humor those fellas, failed me :(

If he is randomly hitting keys, in 64 generations he will have spelled out the phrase, METHINKS IT IS LIKE A WEASEL

But that's with selective breeding :p

Seems that i got the grumpy old guy today, rode around tonbridge wells and honestly didnt make any big **** ups, was genuinly shocked that i failed when he told me, then when he went on to explain what i had done i became so angry all i was thinking about was bopping him on the nose....

The examinor for my motorcycle test followed me in his car while wearing mirrored sunglasses. Nailed the emergency stop and even pulled over correctly, but he wasnt even looking...

Nailed the u turn and didnt mess up at any junction, hill start or round about..

so when i get back and he says that i didnt look over my shoulder when i made my u turn, and i started to pull away before i made the turn looking over my shoulder i was angry. ( he watched me make this turn while in his car with the sunglasses on )

Next major thing come off an aroad onto a back road and i dont know the road well so i dont go thundering down it, pot holes everywhere..

I didnt progress enough ( go fast enough ) around a back lane i didnt know ??? it was a 60 and i did 40, yet did 60 on both aroads to this road ??

so annoyed, after 3 different instuctors came on a ride and said id have no problem passing...

just wondering if anyone else got bull**** reasons for failing a bike/ car test ??
Ask your instructot to ensure you have an examiner who is also riding a bike, don't get me wrong, the guy you had is obviously capable, but you will have a warmer feeling if it is a fellow biker on a bike.

Why you had 3different instructors go out with you afterwards is pointless to say the least. Unless you are wearing a head cam they can't see the situation as it happens.

You need to chill, chalk it up to experience (albeit a costly one to learn) and just prepare for next time, if you are adamant you did nowt wrong, ride like you did before. If you fail again, then start bloody listening, if you pass then you were right.

I'm in the fortunate experience of passing bikes, cars, lorries, tanks, and buses with advanced cars and advanced bikes first time. So it is hard for me to understand what is your bitter disappointment, but trust me if you relax and enjoy your next ride when you are under test conditions you will find it will go smoother, the important part in my opinion is the examiner needs to be on a bike - at least then he can follow you correctly and watch your line of ride etc...

Good luck fella

Yeah you probably failed for either one of two reasons:

1 - to keep up the falure rate numbers
2 - you arent as good as you think you are

In this case its more likely 1.

Thanks guys, i didnt go out with 3 insturctors after it was on the theory day and a few training before hand. Ive beed riding my bike on L plates for nearly 2 years now, i'm not a little kid cutting everyone up on a ped. I had a really good ride, wasnt nervous at all even when the examinor gave me wrong directions i corrected my position correctly and in good time so you can understand why my jaw dropped when he said id failed.

There were 3 guys before me that all passed and i was last that day

The Theory test and the days training was £165 and the test with a full days training before test day and a quick warm up session before and to use the bike on the test was £335 a retest is going to cost somewhere around £100+ but being called a liar hurts more than the money. . .

Theres a new test coming out at the end of april with 2 sections to it so if i fail my retest because of a midget on a power trip or for a percentage, I'm in two minds about giving up...

The cbt lasts 2 years and costs about £130 thats not changing with the new test

Expensive but on a bike you dont pay £20 a lesson so in all about £500 for a theory and test

Gotta agree with Jitsu Warrior. Put it down to a learning experience, and just thank your stars that you didn't do the new test that's coming in, you'll fail for farting if you're not careful on that 1!!. Also, a lot of riders who are riding on a CBT, get used to thinking they're Rossi.....and ride like they've nicked it. DON'T!! Ride like you're still learning, cos you never know everything about riding. One point, did you book any lessons to get rid of any bad habits that you will have picked up? And it's all good and well having 3 different instructors saying you shouldn't have failed, but if they weren't riding with you on your test, then they can't comment on it and they aren't the ones who magically turn your license from green to pink. I'm doing my bike theory test next friday, and am giving the theory test book a bloody good kicking to help me pass!!! Then i'm booking some lessons before I book the practical test, maybe even some advanced riding tuition when I pass. Doesn't do any harm.

Anyhow dude, good luck with your next test ok. Take it all on board and stay calm.

OOPS!!, just seen you reply Hawkins lol.
