Seems that i got the grumpy old guy today, rode around tonbridge wells and honestly didnt make any big **** ups, was genuinly shocked that i failed when he told me, then when he went on to explain what i had done i became so angry all i was thinking about was bopping him on the nose....

The examinor for my motorcycle test followed me in his car while wearing mirrored sunglasses. Nailed the emergency stop and even pulled over correctly, but he wasnt even looking...

Nailed the u turn and didnt mess up at any junction, hill start or round about..

so when i get back and he says that i didnt look over my shoulder when i made my u turn, and i started to pull away before i made the turn looking over my shoulder i was angry. ( he watched me make this turn while in his car with the sunglasses on )

Next major thing come off an aroad onto a back road and i dont know the road well so i dont go thundering down it, pot holes everywhere..

I didnt progress enough ( go fast enough ) around a back lane i didnt know ??? it was a 60 and i did 40, yet did 60 on both aroads to this road ??

so annoyed, after 3 different instuctors came on a ride and said id have no problem passing...

just wondering if anyone else got bull**** reasons for failing a bike/ car test ??

i was failed first time for my front wheel touching the solid white line at the traffic lights he said i had run a red light ???, i was the last of 6 in a fast track course every one else passed.
after the formality's where done of failing me he followed me outside and said too rebook as fast as poss he would make sure he done my next test and assured me i would deff pass next time, i had a chat with my instructor about what was said after the test he said too me he knew i would fail before i even got on my bike as they are apparently not aloud too pass everyone in a group now that is just c@#p

how much did it cost for your full test?

How mutch does it cost now to go for your cbt cuz im looking to re do my cbt again. Pluss why does it only last 2yrs it seems stupid to me that the law sais you can ride with your cbt for 2yrs and then it expirse ?

Makes me glad I passed my test years ago, before part1/part2, CBT,Theory etc.. became the standard. Think I would struggle to pass nowadays, even though I've been riding bikes for nearly 30 years. Can't beleive how expensive it's got too - my test cost just £35 in 1982

Hope you pass next time round Hawkins

If it makes you feel any better - it took two attempts to pass mine as well ;)

I failed a dope test once, that was so unfair :(

However, I passed my bike test first time, in the pissing rain and despite nearly mowing the examiner down on the emergency stop! (He later admitted he shouldn't have really done that as it was so wet).

I may have had my licence longer than Gee Tee even
