Better Things 2 Do!
What ever happened in the lead-up to the incident it still doesn't justify resourting to violence! and if I ever have to on a field I will quit! the game is supposed to be played as it was originally intended for fun, yes there is competitivness which is good for the sport and all sports or we wouldn't have tournaments but keep it civil.

WAY UNCOOL :(

Just a quick word to all of you the Midland Masters have in place a disciplinary committe and it will go to them to decide on any punishment that will be given out.

Any bans will be nationwide but before we all start talking about that let the people in question put both sides of the case and lets sort it out from there.

Please everyone we do not want a trial by forum so just let it lie for know and leave it to the people on the DC.

and on a personal note to blakey and the mm crew bloody well done for yesterday and getting on the fields yourselves when you were let down by some marshals.

You wont catch me being so thoughtful:D :D

Big Up!!

Big up to J-Doe and Russ 'the law' Smith for both guesting with us this weekend. Cheers guys, without you........there would only have been three of us. :D

Great weather, weird event but some top games were had, well done to Storm YG for slapping us about.

Now, speaking of slapping about, something very wrong happened at the event. This should by no means be a reflection of the event organisers or the teams playing the event apart from Viper for being total idiots. What were you thinking for christ sake? You guys have been on the scene for a long time and should try to lead by example, but instead you go and do this. Your reputation has been tarnished enough over the last year or so then this happens, you really aren't doing yourselves any favours. I don't really like getting into any controversy and politics because there's far too much of that **** goin around and it eventually breeds conflict between teams and then the reason we do this sport, to play the damn game, becomes poisioned and turns nasty. But, one of my mates was attacked by a chump and got away with it which aint right. You get shot, tough, walk off the field and try not to get shot next time. Throw you gun? You dick, what if it blew? What if the bottle blew off into the crowd, maybe killed a kid or something like that?

Just a thought. If the attacker was, say, one of the Kellys lads, maybe Lee, or Wayne......maybe Greg or Tony. Do you think the outcome would be the same??

Me neither.

Sort it out guys.

All I can say is this; the DC better come up with an appropriate response to this incident, and by that I mean one that is at the very least as severe as the punishment that was promised for those caught shooting road signs (a Nationwide ban I seem to remember) -Quote" One last moan, who was the childish moron who saw fit to light up three roadsigns on the way out of the site??? If any one knows please pass on to me, and they will be banned from the MM for life, just the kind of image we need". I would say that Sunday's incident was at least as bad?

I posted after the Stoke event about the actions of cetain players and teams; some of who have had the courage to apologise for their actions.

I will not take part in a sport with my son where laws are not enfoced to prevent this happening, anything other than a national ban for a significant time frame will be a weak response.

If this incident is not used to convey the message that this behaviour will not be tolerated and that we are serious about keeping our sport safe for all, I and my son will not play agian.
