How do you think does a hand held chrony work?
I thought its a radar one...

They are Radar.

The yellow hand helds and big red chrono's are both Radar, although they do work on different frequencies... in "theory" the yellow ones should be more 'accurate' but not sure it makes any difference in reality.

We ought to try and get one of the radar calibration machines that Bill Cookston had last year at the world cup, that way we can make sure they are all singing the same tune!

I guess I am a nobody! I spent quite a few hours on these rules by the way.

Steve

Post edit: I guess that was before I joined the Millennium organization.

I wasn't around (newbie here). I offer myself for some help, if you want.

Its fine to me. I dont think its necessary, but its okay. No problem with that. :)

Any different opinions?

Where do you get them, how do they work and is it possible to calibrate the one we already have???

Go for it! Please! :)

Yes, you spent some hours, but you never ever mailed your ideas especially your re-wordings. I mean we talked in A'dam and got rid of the hopper issue and a third one. The flag issue (as also the others) werent (imho) big issues (or at least nobody who wants to talk about it seems to have a problem with it - which doesnt mean that you are not right!).
Anyway.. lets look forward. There is a new season coming..
