I think you played in the wrong place, my boy. If you had played NXL or on some of the PSP fields you would've seen a whole nother thing. And I could be wrong but I don't think you got by with too much during EXL with Yank and Euro refs, that is if you played very much, didn't notice.
Haven't read this forum much lately, have you? The PSP already have it under control. Maybe Mill and NPPL will follow their lead and do likewise. I'd be kinda surprised if Millennium doesn't basically implement very similar programs with similar equipment Season 2006.
sorry steve, you have taken this wrong. Baldy is robbo.

havent played the psp. wasnt talking about the nxl.

mainly millenium and nppl.

im not sure if miami was any better, but at campaign they are runnin a 15bps cap, with no-one really enforcing it. they didnt have the radar guns like the nxl.

not sure if the nppl "pro" refs were the same as the exl refs but miami and even the san diego reffing was of a s hit standard.

I see, Kyle. But either way I still think it's pretty funny and would have (if I were involved) meant some interesting challenges for a couple of baldies in the face of entertaining behavior. :) I shouldn't speculate too much on what-ifs.

Nope. No commonality. The EXL refs were a few NXL refs with some of the best Euro refs I could find. Not perfect but it was on the right path.

Be interesting to see what happens with reffing next season. And I hope there will be some decent entertainment. Bring it on; I hope I'll somehow be there to see it. ;)

who really cares? seriously?

most people don't care a rat's a$$. in 1 year's time the same people will be posting the same stuff only using different acronyms. searching the p8ntballer archives will bear out this argument, for those who have the time/inclination to do so.

self appointed pundits love a forum to post their opinion on. that's the problem with the web, any idiot can ramble all they like - the real irritation is when there are a ton of saddoes waiting to go "oh yeah!" to any ramblings without objectively considering the point made.

or in cases when objective consideration is made, people get belittled because they a) hit a sore point, b) dare to differ from the consensus, or c) ain't part of the kewl gang - or even worse, were part of such a gang and now are no longer

get real. paintball is never going to be a sport. best case scenario it is an accepted hobby as opposed to a derided one. once that is realised, all this self-importance becomes pretty impotent. self-imposed big fishes in non-existent small ponds = a road to nowhere, no matter how much psycho-babble you rant (which is totally self defeated by acting the hard guy when a nerve is touched, thereby making the pen (keyboard) much mightier than the proverbial sword)

so that's an endorsement for breaking the rules, so long as the rules have already been broken?

by that logic: Footballer A punches footballer B in the head on the pitch. so it is then ok for footballer B to punch footballer A in the head

nice. olympics here we come. team "eye for an eye" get my money for a win :)

Saris, how does 'shut the fcuk up' sound ?
You know full well that was an ironic joke on my part, and if you didn't, it just means you are a frikkin idiot.
Either way, you are treading a fine line, I don't like little pricks like you because you seemingly have nothing else to do that take a pop at people in the industry on the basis you have achieved nothing and aren't one of them.

I would never advocate cheating and everybody who posts on here knows that, reference my somewhat lonely stance on designer gun cheats and NEVER allowing Nexus to use cheat guns in the NPPL where almost everybody else was so doing.
So tell us all, what are your credentials, who are you, who do you play for and so on?

As for you post above maligning what you called self-appointed pundits, you are nothing more than just another jealous under-achieving wannabee trying to make yourself look clever on these pages.
A lot of people on here who post regularly are extremely intelligent commentators on our sport, so if you are gonna come on here and talk bad about them, declare what you got because at the moment, if I judge you on what you have just written, all I can see is a fool, and worse, a disenchanted fool who has no substance to anything he says, only a pathetic agenda of acrinomy.

And if what you see on these pages so upsets you, don't come here, in fact, do me a favour Saris, fcuk off !!!

Oh by the way, have a nice Christmas :)

Sorry if i make no sense at all im just a child
I think you're right that so-called "bad guys" like several we could name make PB, and life in general, more interesting. And I don't think you're "just a child" for considering it amusing. I believe most people do no matter what official posture is taken.

What I've tried to say is that we will always have some cheating, temper tantrums, arena drama, forum follies, bonus balling and entertaining histrionics no matter how well we develop the rules and the quality of officiating.

That doesn't negate the logic of making a strong and concerted effort to get better control of the game and its basic principles.
