I know a few Turkish players and industry members. I have no doubt that you would be extremely welcoming and do anything you could for the visiting teams - no doubt at all.I just checked Millenium's website and it seems 12 Spanish teams attended Malaga event and only 2 of them came to the the rest of the legs so far...
I know it's not as cheap as flying to Malaga to fly Antalya, but come on guys! Just stop being that pessimistic(like no refs coming??) and see the better parts a bit..Besides being a great oppotunity for paintballers having vacation while shooting paint, hotels are all inclusive which means you don't have to spend more money for food &beer
I think the money you pay for the plane tickets(which we pay a lot of more than that for every single leg )will worth it..
Just leave the bad thoughts aside, Antalya can suprise you more than you think!
I can talk on behalf of all the Turkish players, we'll do anything to help you guys out, just let us know..
However - How many people do you know that could afford 3 vacations per year?
Malaga - its expensive "but not if you treat it like a vacation"
Paris - Most people use summer vacation time to attend the event.
Turkey - 3rd vacation of the year?
What if people want a vacation with their family - should they book a 4th trip?
If people can't afford to play the event, and there is a drop in teams - does Turkey have enough teams to contribute, to make the event a success?
It's nothing against the venue or the people - all that is great, but if every event is supposed to be a 'vacation' in order for a participant to justify the expense, how sustainable is that?
