how about a mixture of events, say make the limited paint events 5-man (easier for the newcomer) and other non-limited 7-man.

That'd be cool

By having certain legs running either 5 or 7 man formats.

Have any of you guys thought of planning a BIG event, couple of days with more fields and stuff? Of course a bigger entry fee for it but other than Millennium events there aren't any other BIG events people can enter. You guys seem to be well organised and know how to set up a solid tourney with a decent atmosphere.

Have you even thought about mixing both 5 and 7 at the same tourney, bit of a new format for teams to play both?? Could be fun to take your full squad and play some 7 man games plus a couple of 5 man games. There aint no reason not to is there??

Just a thought. :D

thanks for the feedback

Shoot the Rainbow II,

This will be our first foray into 2-day events, and it's for charity mate, loads of things planned, only 10 places left.
However we are planning a parralel series to MM for next year, and with TWO venues now secured the UK Masters is one step nearer, (if Sud gets hiw finger out we can start planning the Scottish Open!)

All of these events will be 4 2-day , air on site , In your face, sup-air only affairs, SO the format shall we make it 7 or five man. C,mon you tell us . What shall it be?

:( 7 People can play a 5 man event, but 5 players can't play a 7 man event. We ain't got enough players for 7 man. I wonder how many other teams don't have enough players? and like us, would have to drop out:confused:

7 man

WELL BLAKEY WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME 7 MAN EVENTS AS IT IS GOOD TRAINING FOR EVENTS LIKE CAMPAIGN ETC AS MOST OF THE 7 MAN EVENTS ARE DOWN LONDON BUT TO GOGGER WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IF YOU GUYS WIN THE PRIZE TO CAMPAIGN
IF YOU ONLY HAVE 5 PLAYERS SURELEY YOU CAN FIND PLAYERS WE HAVE AT THE MOMENT APPROX 4 MORE PEOPLE FROM THE MIDLANDS THAT WANT TO PLAY FOR US WHICH WILL TAKE OUR TEAM TO TEN MAN SO WE WILL PUT 2 TEAMS IN AT EVENTS.
BEST THING TO DO IS PUT A ADVERT ON FOR PLAYERS AND TRY THEM OUT THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WANTING TO PLAY FOR TEAMS CHEEEERS SEE YOU AT UTTOXETER.....

We could take on a guest! But we dont want any more permenant members at the moment, because we are mainly playing 5 man, and having people sit out games is a bummer:mad:

You could you know

you could get you know who to PRAY for you ;)

MM should put heads together with maybe Bully or other organiser types and put on a huge event, world cup style. 5 AND 7 man events on, teams can enter either but having a pure 5 man tourney running and a pure 7 man event too, world cup has 5 and 10 man goin on. I know it probably is very expensive and very difficult to get a big enough number of teams AND getting the right venue but I just thought I'd let you know what I'd like to see happen.

I agree a world cup style tournament would be awsome, runing 5 man for two days and 7 man for 3 days or somthing. I bet you would have a huge turnout, especialy with good prizes to overall winners.

In the MM however I think 7man would benefit the sport, more teams getting used to this format would give them a better chance in europe.
