Better Things 2 Do!
Well what can I say about the weekend.

Thanks to everyone involved, the organisers, marshals, teams, paint suppliers (Zap sorted!!).

We had a great day the weather held out, sunshine even near the end of the day (worried blakey is doing some anti-rain dance round the back involving....? well who cares it didn't rain :))

This is our first season doing tourneys - infact this was only our third tourney? and from what I have seen each event has just got better and better with suggestions taken onboard and worked on to improve it even more so big up to the MM crew.

Would also like to thank Strongl for coming from down south to fill a spot (always cool to meet ballers from the board) and help us take 3rd in our division :D

Also big up to the guys from the clan (top guys altough after seeing those pictures of sid, cook$ took ohh the horror :p), apoc cheers gurney eclipse was running sweet i'm told - also everyone else.

See u all at Rd5 if not the big game

Nope he gets all of team sad doing that, looks like a scene from Zulo! :D

Sid,
congrats again mate and having played you guys a number of times I can confidently say the person who accused you of cheating was (as they would say in 'Who wants to be a millionaire') -
A) talking through his ar$£ *COUGH COUGH*

There are a number of teams who you can honestly say play fairly and I am more than happy to include the Clan in that list.

Blakey/Phil,
Most of the paint seemed to come from field 1 on the break. Slightly higher netting would resolve it as would sweet spotters actually realising that front players are unlikely to be heading for their primarys on stilts.

Finally, I've got to say I enjoyed the day overall, even getting warned for swearing only to get back to the safe area to hear some (I believe the youth call it rap) record with more swear words than I managed in eight minutes
 ;)

Just to say thanks to all the guys who organised the event etc etc etc

I read the comments about the netting or lack of it !
Lets be fair all the the blame does not lay with the MM crew

Are we or we not all involved in this sport , help out , if you see someone with goggles off heading to field 5 did you say " put your goggles on player"
I know i did 3 times

In honesty can you say all sites have the safety netting up high enough or have St Johns on standby. ( PS my advice to all marshalls is check before giving First Aid you could get sued for the wrong treatment)

The simple way if you are not happy is to vote with your feet and dont play until all your gripes are sorted or get off your backside and help.

Delta Echo played their First MM event ever , comments; good day , gripes off some , people spitting dummies out , full toilets by the end of the day , big paint bill , plastic trophy , long drive home.

Thats Paintball
Dont be naive

Jabba
PS Echo or even the Mighty Delta ( Joke , b4 you all get excited) will grace you again with our skill ,flair and fair play.
See you all soon

A qualified first aider is covered by site insurance and in some cases by the testers eg St John's Ambulance Insurance if they becomes members
There has been legal safeguards put in place to protect first aiders from direct suit. This is so that there will be First - Aiders who will try to help.
The problem with field 5 is that it affected fields 4 and 2

Just wanna add my two cents about the Ancaster Tourny. It was an awsome day. Great fields but sometimes very tough. I have no complaints about the marshalling, great job boys, especiallt pikachu! Our team (the Psycho Scarabs) were bumped from Division E staight to C. We knew it would be a dog fight and we also knew that we would learn a ton from this. We took a respectable 6th place. Thanks everyone involved and thanks again to Silent bob for doing an outstanding job as our guest again!. Looking forward the the next one!

And others.

Hope you dont think I was havin a go, just some feedback as I saw it on the day.

All things said, the day was superb, the team and I had a great day, even if we did get our arses kicked a couple of games. Many thanks once again for all the effort and hard work by all involved.
