dunno what this is about, just read the last post, but i bet its him...

edit!!!
just read the post and man, I came close to tearin a marshal's nuts off at STR. his 'Bad Call' took the piss to the extreme.but i just wandered to the dead box muttering obscenities that would make a docker blush. so what im sayin is nobodies perfect, there are people who can deal with it (like me) and people who cant (who are chumps).

Most of our Games were played on field 2 of the Indoor and as far as we were concerned the Judges got it right....EXCEPT:D , when one of our Team was pulled from a game for what the judge thought was a hit on his Barrel when in actual fact it was a 'Chronic' sticker wrapped around it!
Unfortunately the Game was against the Clowns and with that pull it left our far tape open and we lost. No fault of the Judges, twat should not have put the sticker there. We all had a good laugh about it......EXCEPT:D , when we got to the staging area we were informed that the same Judge had done the exact same thing in a previous game(not too sure if this is true or not) If this is true,,,,guy, get your eyes tested ffs,,;) .

What I'm trying to say is,,the judges have a hard enough time without players getting in their faces for what THEY think is a bad call. SUCK IT UP!,,,90% of the calls are good and just remember that the next time there is a bad call it may be against the team YOU are facing.

Enough dribble from me!:p

Hi all.

These issues need to be dealt with I agree, I have not been physically abused but have been verbally abused, it's not nice and refs / marshals should not have to put up with it.

Bully (Series 2003), Blakey (Midland Masters), Sid, Chris (SWL) and my self (M25 Leauge) are all getting together to discuses the future of the England leauge; I hope this will establish close working relations between the leagues. This can only be a good thing for the sport and the teams, being banned from one series is annoying but to be banned from all 4 main leagues and possibly all the other big events this would really make teams think!

Added to this I have personally just sponsored the training of the teams marshalling the M25 Leauge This Sunday saw the UKPSF tourney marshal training back in action, as marshals we need to know were to draw the line and what is and is not acceptable. Most of it is common sense and knowing how to apply the rules. But it is also believing in your marshals giving them the courage of their convictions so that they go out on to the fields and do the best job they are capable of on that day. This is all any of us can hope for. As event organisers players or teammates. No one can see everything we call it as we see it and this is how our sport regulates it’s self.

As players what would you like to see done?

Were do we draw the Line what is acceptable?

Isn't a sticker on the barrel a rules infringement anyway???
If not it should be. :D

Anyone have any idea what percentage of players ever marshal?

I like to think that I do my bit when I can and that helps me see things from a marshals point of view when I am a player and vice versa.

Marshals put a lot of effort into a day of paintball whether its a punter day or a tournaments and it usually goes on for a couple of hours outside the times that there are any players on the field and, lets face it, its hardly the best paid job in the world.

I'd like to see all teams in leagues forced to marshal at least one leg. That way everyone at least doesn their bit and appreciates what its like to be in that position.

Twisty's tazers are a good idea :p :p

Too right, standing in the cold all day (no ten minute game then half hour break), taking hits from both sides, getting yelled at, most good decisions never noticed, all the possibly bad ones spotted..... we should think about it before we start.
