I dont think i will. You make it sound as if the general public are all stupid, extremely stupid. They are not. They no what paintball guns are. They are not going to think of anything involving bullets.

The general public believe what the tabloids, jackass and Eminem want them to believe about our sport. If you believe differently then you are fooling yourself.
And the general public have NO IDEA what paintball is really about, the average opinion ranges from sad and a bit star trek to militant soldier wannabe.

I highly doubt people think paintball has anything to do with star trek. And I dont think people use jackass as a sort of information, or do they also think kayaking is meant to do on stairs?
Most people's only exposure to paintball is Jackass....... they assume we are all that stupid. Just like the general opinion of boarders is negative. As for "I highly doubt", doesn't mean a lot really. Ask around the forums mate, read some threads...... you'll see what the publics general opinion of us is...... don't just make one up and assume that you're correct. Ask some of the moderators what the public think of us, ten get back to me
I know many people that dont play ball. I know what their oppinion is. Does it involve airball? No. Woods? Yes. Anything to do with jackass? no. and saying paintball gun as opposed to marker isn't doing any difference.

look, ask around....... then come back, you seem to think the general public are quite well informed about paintball. understand that it's a sport and doesn't have military overtones. They also know that paintball drive by's, Jackass stunts and paintball vandalism is totally sperate from us and our sport. YOU ARE DELUDED. Again, read through some threads, look in newspapers, find me one positive paintball stories in the main stream press and I'll find you thirty negative ones.
The general public don't understand what we do, they get their info from the press, and sensationalist news coverage. How many times have you seen a marker on mainstream TV or film? (Jackass, 8 mile, Oprah: paintball vandals etc...) How many times was it used in a positive way? It's once, and that was in Halloween three when Jason beheaded a paintballer he ran into, but at least she was wearing goggles.

pretty much all my mates except the ones that have been 'ballin think its for as Jose says, young soldier wannabes, or people that couldnt get into the regular, bare in mind these people are dicks but thats what they they think
