There's still no official confirmation that the venue is in Fuenlabrada on the south side of Madrid.
Is this not official enough: http://www.millennium-series.com/location.htm? Is there a more official millennium insiders club somewhere?? Everyone's probably got their flights booked and everything so it's a bit too late for millennium organizers to reveal some completely new, change of the century, top secret information...

ok guys

Went to the site yesterday and I have to say that it is not what I was expecting from the new look Millennium Series.

CPL field is the only one on grass (that is actually alive). The other two 7 man fields are on what can only be described as baked lumpy dirt, although they have laid astro over one of those fields. The astro isnt XL turf but rolls of thin stuff that are joined at the seams with giant iron staples!!!
M5 field is the same hard bumpy dirt but with a concrete manhole in the middle of it.

I would advise the highest factor suncream you can get as it is topping 35 degrees in the afternoon and isnt dropping much below 23 degrees-ish at night.

It may also be wise to make sure you have the necessary medical cover as I think we are going to have alot of injuries at the weekend.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

You never know though....it may be the best event wehave seen in Europe to date.

p.s... As far as I am aware, from the discussions I have heard, the venue was changed due to money issues and as with all things in life... you get what you pay for.
