Just a thought..... perhaps think about a projector to hook up to the laptop- you can hire a nice bright unit for not-a-lot. Project the score speadsheet on to the marquee wall and you've got an instant leaderboard.....

Overall an excellent event, one point of caution however was the chronoing station, saw an alarming number of people using it with no goggles on. In future I think it should be set up as Campaign last year, ie fully enclosed (sides, front, rear and roof) and make it mandatory for people to wear goggles to enter it.
Apart from that though I thought things were good, especially the fields.

As with the previous round, an overhead projector was promised by the venue which then failed to deliver
It would make my life so very, very much easier if I wasn't interrupted every few moments by people asking for scores updates - anyone got a projector we can link up to a PC going cheap, or to lend to us for next time?
Bad Dave - chrono station already discussed with Sparklie today & will be all-round netting with goggles on signs next time. A couple of people commented during the day, so action will be taken. Remember this is quite a new experience for Sparklie, and all constructive feedback will be listened to.

... I think I speak for all the Freaks when I say we loved it! A few of the team had never played on Sup Air before and they are totally hooked now, and the rest of us had so much fun it was unreal! Even if we did get up at 5:30 and then get home at about 12:00!!!
Thanks Sparklie, Liz, all the Marshalls and anyone else who organised the event it was great fun for our first tourney! (Hell, we even won a couple of games!)
