Ok, first off, hats off to Sparklie, Liz and the rest of the crew today! The organisation was spot on, despite some delays in running order (which were caught up on, then delayed again).

The event was laid on in a public place, and there were several non paintball related spectators wandering around. (one guy eveb asked us where he could buy some Jerseys like the Dye ones we had on for his kids!:) This kind of public interaction is exactlky what the sport needs, so well done to Sparklie for the venue. The facilities in the sports center were superb, toilets, showers, warmth!!:) etc.....it was all that the first venue had to offer and more!

The fields were great, all laid on for aggressive play, movement and attack minded play. The nets were superb, i didnt see any balls come over the top of the netting, and nobody was struck by any stray balls (to my knowledge).

The judging was also fairly good, there were a few dodgy calls, but nothing more than you would expect at any tournament. The judges were mobile, were active and seemingly observent and keen to do a good job. I say several judges cleaning the paint off barricades between games, and raking balls away from the bottom and approaches to barricades, this kind of thoroughness was great to see, well done marshalls.:)

The amount of work that wenbt into the event was self evident, and i hardly saw Sparklie or Liz, the marshalls or any of the crew take a break all day, they were great. A big shout out needs to go to the young runners on each field, who did a great deal to organise teams to the chrono, and run results to the admin area.

All in all the event was superb, the weather wasnt great, but thats not the fault of any of the orgainsers.

Top event, cant wait for the next one!!

To all the teams that werent there......WHY NOT????? Make sure that you attend the next event, lets try to get 60+ teams there, on 4 fields and stop Sparklie running the series at a loss!!!!

Sparklie, Liz, thanks for a great event, well done.

Sam:)

P.S I nearly forgot, if any of you guys want to win or place in the top three at an M25 event then you need to be shooting Draxxus paint, wear DYE clothes, Wear Extreme Rage Packs, Shoot Evolution Race Gun Cockers from Belsales (and for Shockwave Am eat cakes baked by Wayne's wife!!!.......mmm tasty :))
