Saying that Liz i know what you mean about letting them know before hand, but i remember sparklie once before saying it doesnt take long, and it isnt difficult to change the divisions

But would you like to be the one to tell an amateur team that, expecting to be in Div 2, they suddenly get put up in Div 1 at the last moment? There aren't any obvious teams that can be promoted, everyone in 2 is very clearly Am ranked. Would you like to volunteer to ask some of them if they would like to swap places?

It is my opinion that we (Shockwave Am) need to be playing in Div 1 at this, and every M25 seres tournamet. We need to be playing the likes of Shock Pro, Backlash, Ecstasy and Tigers on a regular basis, as this will help our game more than winning all 7 prelim games like last time without losing many players. We recognise the need to compete with the best and are glad that we have been put into the top division. The M25 is a great practice forum for the Millennium series, of which we will be playing every leg, it therefore does us no favours playing against anything but the best the M25 has to offer opposition wise. I think that every team that wants to improve should strive to be in the top diviision at every event, regardless of past results. Why should teams be satisfied with playing at a lower level than they should be playing? if you play the best you improve....if you dont, then you wont. Simple.

I for one am looking forward to this event, and the chance to play top opposition regularly, as it benefits all teams involved.
