I'm so sorry everyone! This is just horrific!

My mother used to tell me all the time when I was in england that London would be next! I hate that she was right!

I hope everyone and their families are ok!!!

Who is trying to get hold of someone in Canada - if you PM me a number I will call them and let them know you are ok if you can't get through!

IS IT AL QAEDA?

Just to add.

AL QAEDA 'MURDERS' ENVOY

Egypt's new ambassador in Iraq is feared to have been murdered by al Qaeda.

Insurgents linked to wanted terror chief Abu Musab al Zarqawi announced in a purported message posted on the internet that they had killed Ihab el Sherif.

Mr el Sherif has only been in Iraq for five weeks when he was seized by gunmen in Baghdad on Saturday evening as he was buying a newspaper, according to witnesses.

Egyptian officials called on his kidnappers to look after him, saying he had gone to Iraq to help its people.

They had also asked them to look at Mr el Sherif as an Arab patriot.

Only last week the new Iraqi administration had praised Egypt for upgrading its ties with Iraq.

Funny how it all happens in a day eh?

My mate is ok, his wife is a Doctor and she's been busy though. :(

A few other friends had very close calls.

I agree that we should do our best not to let these ****'s interfere with our lives or change our routines.

It's happened before and it's never slowed us down for more than a few days. We'll be OK until they learn to control the weather....... a bit of heavy rain would have more of an effect.
Screw them, terrorism never achieves anything apart from the bragging rights to the rest of your nutter associates........ honestly, when was the last time anyone said "well, one more atrocity and we will just have to capitulate?"
Sod it, they don't want anthing to change, they just enjoy hurting people, all the same, no matter who's side they claim to be on.

No point debating it either, the more airtime this gets, the more effect they've had.

just so you guys know, if any of you break down in any type of vehicle in the next few days inside m25 do not expect any assistance. AA, RAC, ATS and all other breakdown services have moved all their mobile units outside of the m25 and are only attending to emergency vehicles...

every job is being risk assessed as well so if they do start going back in expect a long wait unles you can get to a garage.

Some people believe it happened in march, 14 in my country when people voted the government out while in shock for the 11th train attacks.

lo folks :D

dont let the news feeds lie to ya. i live 10 mins from 3 of the bomb sites and things are just peachy here. us londoners have a long genetic memory of having the shizzle blown out of us. we had the germans and the irish and now possibly the arabs try it all and thats just within living memory. we just knuckle down grin and bare with it. compared to madrid or 911 we got off incredibly lucky so far.39 confirmed mortality and 300 or so wounded.

i went out for a bit of a wander earlier today and the mood onthe street is remarkably chipper. we have a few days of travel chaos line up for us until they reopen kings X and the roads the bombsites were on will be closed until the forensics boys have done their thang. but apart from that it will be mostly business as usual tomorow and by monday we will barely give it a mention.

sorry if this post sounds flippant its not how it was meant. but if you let these people get to you , then you play straight into their arms.

one side effect is that ive had famiy that i havent spoken to in 5 years (mainly cos they are all c**** phone me and see if i was ok.

i think they wanted to fight over the inheritance.

ive had an interesting day. sadly its been interestinginthe way of a chinese insult :(

i would also like to take this opportunity to offer mine and my teams condolences to anyone affected by the attacks today.

anything inthis post except that last sentence are my views and mine only. as usual :D
