Go for it !!!!!!!!!!!

Andy, Sparklie and all other intrested parties.

GO FOR IT!!!

By running the "Series events" in the North, Mark and Phil running the Midlands event and the lads in the South West running the SWL tournament paintball is thriving around the country. The key to the success is the format.

Different sites, different fields, different formats, an acceptable price structure and a commitment from teams. It works if you doubt it visit any of the three tournament series mentioned above.

Start the SE league and then we could have a national final at all levels.

This is what the "Sports Council" want to see "Region divisions" Not the big show piece events, grass roots paintball

Just what we need

I think Bully has hit the nail on the head in regards a National Final's for regional events. It use to be done with the old southern and Northern leagues, so why can't we do it again.

If we want some serious reconition for our sport then we need a stuctured format that can be seen as a national league rather than a collection of individual tournament series.

If there is no one in the south east willing to put on a series which could be incorporated into a national league final's then why don't those of us already running events get together and give them a helping hand. What do you say Steve?
If we were to do this then we would not only need the support of the teams but we would need a committment to provide marshal's, and for site owners to allow the use of their sites, for a fee of course.

So how serious are the teams in the South East to have a league series in their own back yard.

Another issue thats needs to be addressed if we were to have a national format is the standardisation of the rules that each event uses. All the tournament organisers have to get together to thrash out the rules in use, or all have to agree to adhere to the up and coming UKPSF rules.

Come guys let make this happen.

hello again

Yes I am up for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But as I am only one (hot Chick) female, it is a bit much to take on on my own and the accademy and run an up and comming site. Please I do need some time to go shopping and sleep;)

I too spoke to bully today and he is very keen to get this going and offer advise.

I have a lovley site with sup air, great woods, concept and will help get this up and running if I have some broad male shoulders to take some of the strain. Has any one spoken to clive yet or the others people mentioned? I can be reached on 01296434 336

I just put those sites down from the long list swirling around inside my brain... As far as i know noone has mentioned any of this to anyone!

You ain't seen me, right?

More importantly, Andy hasn't replied and as topic starter i think that it's very irresponsible:p ... A good thread needs love and attention to thrive or it will wilt and dye (geddit) away...

I need sleep (or speed but sleep is less expensive):D

I will have a word with LPS as they have 2 5 man sup-airs they are currently trying to find a field to use on as they had the dog track venue taken away from them.

Once they get something up and running they might be interested in joining up.

But yeah - the south need SOMETHING. Variation is required though.

Why can't we use the Millennium rules though? surely it would look even better if the rulebook was standardised in UK, rest of Europe and NPPL.
