oh yes over 1 million people play paintball in the UK a year but the 200 or so who play supair are the ones who do it properly without camo
hmm i wore a tournament style top today and some camo trousers and black boots whilst paintballing so where does that leave me, must be my other split personnality talking today!:D

I am happy to play big games or supair. I prefer supair but from a bang for your buck stand point woods-ball will always win.

Having seen the new rulings come in in respect to airsoft AEG's looking far too real it seems clear that milsim style markers will come under scrutiny soon enough.

If anything could be misconceived as a weapon then the government will take it in a dim view.

That is the way of the world now so be prepared for a change in the law.

I obviously know nothing about with you but in my eyes I dont think running around the place with replica firearms ( and that is what milsim markers are) is a good image...period!

Ciao

so what are you feelings towards reenactors or airsofters then??

Shame that HK are suing these companies, as surely it will hit the hobby hard in the long run.
Maybe if the markers were altered slightly so they didn't look so much like HK's arsenal but still had the milsim vibe to it?

guess its a case of wait and see!

Just a quick note to everyone saying get rid of milsim and scenario games. Can I just point out that it is how paintball started. the only reason you get to play supair is that some of us played woodball for years.

There's nothing wrong with milsim markers or scenario games, there would be something wrong with someone carrying a milsim marker down the road in public. But that's exactly the same for someone carrying an ego openly down the road. If that happens then it's the kind of thing that will kill off paintball not legal actions.

The worst that will happen is that companies may have to stop selling certain dress up kits and BT may have to rebody the TM-7

<Edit>

Actually i just noticed the cases are trademark infringement so it's simply for them calling their kit parrts MP5 and MP7 or using H&K name in the publicity. So it has nothing to do with what the guns look like.

it all started in the woods remember that...and as for is it the end the air soft dudes got around it and so shall we....the problem with this country is its getting stupid the criminals do what they want while law abiding get screwed .....i say carry on as you are

Paintball started as couple of ranchers in the states shot each other with cattle marking tools .............. so it started on the plains.......... or so i heard.

Airsofters 'got round' the latest laws by becoming a member of a registered airsoft club to buy a black / camo AEG from a registered dealer.

If you are not a member of a club you may purchase the same models but in some lovely bright shades of pink, blue and green.

So you can be an AGG softer with a pink AK47 !!

This would hardly be the end of the world to set up for the paintball community now would it!
