Well..............here's my thought
first I would like to say that I have played with Paintoon from Portugal in 2 events this year. Paintoon is a Div2 team. I was not playing in Div3. We however did lose to a Div3 team in CC.
Paintoon has been around for awhile now in the Millennium-series. They have won one event. People have been saying that they are Baggers as you guys call them over here in Europe for awhile now. I really don't think that they are. they have yet to be a dominating force in the Div2. If they had won the whole series or even won 3 events I might tell them to move up to Div1.
But when you think about what is about to happen to the Div1 next year they would have to be crazy. You have all the teams who are not going to qualify for the Pro league falling down to Div1. Div1 next year is going to be the toughest division. Can you imagine when Dynasty comes over to play what the Div1 teams are going to say?
Anyways I am rabbling. Europes paintball scene is very small. Most players opportunity to play against better teams is only at events. Especially in Portugal Paintoon has no real competition.
I go to the events with them and help them walk the fields and try to organize the game plans for them. If I had more time for them I could make them a lot better then what they currently are.
I have played paintball for over 20 years now and won everything there is to win. What I do now is try and help teams get better and understand the game. If you call me a Bagger for this then I will gladly put this on my jersey for you.
