As long as you have witnesses to him initially saying he no longer wanted the ticket then he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
we have a student who was in the classroom at the time when he said claire could have it..... does that mean goodgame? :p

do we beed ti provve that we have given him his money back, and if so whats the best way to do this, we were just gonba post the cash thru his door in an envelope..... but he could deny that we done that
Bad Idea, you need to be able to prove he received the refund.Or if he refuses to accept the refund then you need a witness to back you up that it was offered.
To avoid it being personal get a third party (police or another neutral party) to give him the money.

If Boab (or Bob) asked for his ticket to be sold, and you susequently sold the ticket. All he could be entitled to is the value the ticket was sold for.

Less any fee you may levy for selling the ticket..;)

And Bobs argument is with Claire, not you, as she bought it.

If by giving it to him you risk the threat of violence of injury then they have no choice, they are a public service at the end of the day.

try telling an enraged dad that ;p

basically boab has changed his mind whether or not he was gona go for the last 6 months

(we have this trip planned for like a year)

so in the end he was like im not going, next day claire handed frazer the money, then boab explains his dad has sold it over, so now his dad wants the ticket

all he is getting is the £125 he paid for it

do you think if we walked into the police station and explained they would go and givew him the refund ?

If that's the case, do you think they'll take some parcels to the post office for me. Those grannys on pension day are frightening....;)

I would approach the police with the threats that he made than explain that you're too frightened to reimburse him the £125, and would like some help.
