Larry,
Any paintball magazine that would publish your article has lost my readership (so please tell me all the publications you write for so I can be sure I never have to be subjected to your random drivel). It's people like you who give paintball a bad image. People who make uniformed judgements on paintball based not on fact, but rather on their own ignorance. Have you ever played in the NPPL? How about the Millenium Serires? have you ever played tournament paintball on the novice/amtatuer/professional level?(I'm guessing not since you don't even know the names of the players you're ragging on)?
Divisions in paintball are quite clear, sandbagging is impossible because of the strictly enforced rules (at least here in the states), most players who consistently win recieve compensation for doing so (tournament prize packages), but that is all beside the point. Paintball is not some combination of first-person-shooters and hide and seek, it currently meets every criteria of a "sport" and it is growing every single day, and you know it. The only thing stopping paintball from being a recognized sport is people like you, who are not pointing out, but inventing shortcomings for paintball. I understand that you are "trying to make us think" because that's what you think your responsibility as a "writer" is, but please don't go shooting off at the mouth spewing misinformation that you can't back up.
