Ok, but heres my answer to it. Despite wether the player is better than the other you would watch the mugger more closely. As the mugger is the only one out of the 2 players with no cover....

why should it be the lower ranked team?!?!?! My team have had games with higher ranked teams where the marshalls watched us and not the other team and yet when we had all been eliminated we care to look across the field to see 3 of the opposistion had been eliminated on their battle packs and shins and we could do nothing about it beacuse the game was over. We complained but nothing was done. We don't blame the team because they were hit places where you may not feel it. The marshalling was just not up to scratch.

we all hear of the cheating incidents so why should anyone be trusted?!?!

I would say that the rest of the refs on that field sucks and are NOT doing what they should be doing...Teamwork anyone? If the game moves follow the game... Of course without showing the player(s) were the other player(s) is. Easy right

And about higher and lower ranking teams... as a ref u shouldent care witch teams that are playing... A novice can cheat just as good as a pro... and so on!

I was joking but you have illustrated my point exactly. There has always been a tendency when high ranking teams ref for them to "assume" certain things about match-ups between differently ranked teams and those preconceptions tend to be fulfilled in the way the games are reffed. Not always but too often.
