Missy does an adequate job of holding up her end
I don't know whats more insulting - insinuating that I have some kind of biased slant to my posts or claiming that I do this no more than 'adequately'. ;)

I think the reason your brave new world falls down Loco (and the reason why \I do not share your suprise) is that your typical professional paintball player does not want to do any actual 'work' if they can help it. Say what you will about the leagues, but the people involved in them, at every level, work very hard, and none of them are millionaires (well, certainly not as a result of running paintball tournaments anyway). I know if I could choose between being a professional paintball player, doing very little while getting paid and living the 'lifestyle', and being a tournament promotor, working my bollox off, and hoping I made money at the end of the year, I would choose the former.

Smartest thing Missy has said all year.

1--Thought you might like that bit but I am insinuating nothing. Everyone has assorted biases about all manner of things. My point was that when I talk about "Missy" this or "Missy" that I'm speaking about what you have posted here and not confusing either you or other views you may hold with the content of what you post at P8ntballer. And if you take real offense at my perception that you advocate a viewpoint or prefer to dwell on the positives rather than potential negatives within your area of interest you could also have Pete change your account to your real name and the question wouldn't ever come up again. :p :)

2--I do not disagree with that in the least. Except I would add there are other "controls" operating that do make it problematic for even forward thinking teams or owners to function outside of current conventions. And that tend to keep the teams isolated.

PS--nice literary allusion, Missy, but actually--it was your hoped for unification that led down that road, not my rabble-rousing against the status quo.

One silly question....

In case, XSV, Joy and Nexus are not playing the first MS event in Marseille, how the seedings and game schedules shall be done for prelims?
In other words, initially there are 16 teams in CPL in the prelims, how things will be done with 3 teams less, ie 13 teams for the seedings?

Hollow, if they haven't sorted out how they are going to accomodate those three teams in terms of upholding their right to compete, then I doubt any details regarding who does what on the day are gonna be resolved...it's a detail, that's all.
Just be patient.

There was supposed to be 4 groups of 4 teams each in the playoffs, and if XSV, Joy and Nexus decide too choose NPPL over MS, then Menace is seeded straight into the Finals since they are the team that has the longest trip out of the remaining 13 teams :D

But it is a long trip for us to take just too play the final game for 15 min., so we can choose between: To come over and play that singel final game or too stay home and get average points or whatever.

If we stay home then its easy for the MS to divide into 3 groups of 4 teams..;) And we save money, or we just go to Huntington too

Ohh ****, i forgot to take my chillpill again, got`to run:cool:
