Pete, apparently I had "irony" set to way too subtle in that post. It was, in truth, a bit of a jibe given that the NPPL as recently as (early) December was seemingly in command of the Pball landscape and had long ago set the plan in motion to invade Euroland but in the intervening month or so it has all changed quite dramatically. Suddenly we have a NPPL stalwart in Mags contemplating which series he'll play if forced to choose.Originally posted by Robbo
Baca, maybe not, as any move into Euroland is gonna cost and the new tie up between PSP and Millennium will give rise to a stronger Millennium and consequently better able to withstand any insurgent moves from the NPPL.
It would be an unplatable move by the NPPL should they consider this strategy with constricting incomes right across the board.
The timing is all wrong for any D Day landings the NPPL might wish to make I'm afraid.

And just how is that gonna work, Missy? Word on the street is Ed isn't being allowed to sell Lanche's spot so how can the Tigers unload theirs? Word too is that between 04 and 05 season a different team tried to sell their spot and it wasn't allowed--if you want names and numbers, I got them. Anyway, why doesn't the NPPL just come out and tell the Pro teams they don't own anything and have no rights whatsoever except to keep paying to play. Let's see it in black and white and then there won't be any confusion or animosity.Originally posted by MissyQ
Last I heard SP offered them $65g in product for the spot, they had a further cash offer around $25 from a second bidder and they were taking the SP offer. Of course this info may be out of date, but at the very least it demonstrates that they plan to sell.
Pete - I am in the UK if you want a chat.

Paul, I can actually confirm the team spot is to be sold to the SP people but as to what they name they use, it's in question.Originally posted by Baca Loco

And if Philly does get ahold of the Tigers spot are they gonna have to the play as the Philly Tigers cus rumor has it abandoned spots retain their location affiliations and names.
Mag, first point first, we (Nexus) did and do play cleaner, we never used cheater markers, you have my word on that, never !Originally posted by Magued
Or we can only play the Nordic series and save ALOT of money, better still not play at all and save all the money!!
And no, Euros dont play cleaner, they are just not as good as the US players.
Pete, how about XSV?
And Bosco, I didnt really understand what you tried to say, but im sure it was some kind of conspiracy theory...
