Verbatim script of my first encounter with E2:

Me (picking up E2 from the counter): This isn't supposed to bounce, right?
Planet Bird: No, it doesn't bounce.
E2 (on the first trigger pull): badada.
E2 looks sheepish. An evil grin spreads across my face. Planet Bird is suddenly engrossed in a particularly interesting speck of dirt on the counter.
E2: badabadabada.
Me: How much?

Not good if lack of bounce it what you're trying to sell it on. However, I'm not sure it would behave the same with the hammer firing and with paint.

Take your 18bps fingers and go over a red chrono, see your 18 fake BPS turn into 8 :D
So if a red chrono read 17bps when I accidentally waved my NON-BOUNCING Shocker over it, does that mean I can claim I was doing 27? ;)

lol QP :)

Im sorry anyone claiming they can sustain anything over 16 bps needs to either turn the bounce off or provide video proof of their fingers going that fast.

Yeah thats probably about correct.

We had an LCD with intelifeed halo do 23BPS over a red chrony. It sounded like a pneumatic tool, much faster than anything you hear even in Xball. That had more than a bit of bouce to it aswell

May I suggest that the anti bounce was not switched on because all the nice punters pick it up, rip it up and then hit the plastic and order one?

I had a go and I did get it to bounce but I accept the fact the filter wasn't on. I loved it anyway.

Just got to sell several markers and get my Nexi (plural?) upgraded.

In Vegas I had my E2 tested for bounce after every game but one, and guess what, no bounce and beleive me these NPPL judges are totally out to get your gun bouncing and try everything to do so.

E2= no bounce.

Fair enough, but I think the point is over whether or not you have the filters on when you want to demo the marker. I don't really see the problem, as long as people are aware it is showing off the marker's capability and not their fingers (like the demo mode on A4s).

Anyway, how would this "training" mode compare to real world bounce? Wouldn't the cyclic mass of the hammer add to the effect?
