Since everybody already accepts that any electro marker is capable of bounce, surely ANY form of gadgetry that REDUCES bounce is a good thing?

We picked up the E2 several times over the weekend and on one occasion it was pretty low on gas - yes, it bounced like crazy without even trying, but only for a few seconds before the gas ran low enough to prevent it from even cocking.

To me, this says that the bounce filters probably cannot eliminate bounce COMPLETELY, but they are better than having no filter at all. Besides, turn the bolt back the right way up, stick a hopper on it and fill it with paint... my money is on this baby not bouncing nearly as easily as some are making out.

For many people, bounce is just an annoying side-effect that you could do without - especially if you come across an over-enthusiastic chrono judge who won't let you on his field because he made 11 shots from 10 trigger pulls after spending an hour trying to find the sweet spot.... ... and for these people the bounce filter will be a godsend. It's all about balance - I'd rather be able to crank up a bounce filter slightly than have to fiddle with my trigger/lpr setup minutes before I'm due on a game just so I can get on the damn field...

The gun is light, it's fast (who was that guy who shot 22bps out of it?!) and it looks pretty damn good to boot. Cut 'em some slack! :D

Any gun will bounce if the filter is not set right, The four E2's we were using at Campaign mowed all weekend and were all checked by the open Xball judges: no bounce.
Martins new E2 did 23 bps during one match!! (Reloader B on speed 3) They dont ramp so theres no delay if you are quick fingered 0-23 in 1 sec. Try running through that!

They rock.

Before anyone gets the wrong idea

The marker was correctly set up on the 1st day however the con settings where adjusted and much to my knowledge this affected the way it functioned..

Flash then Set up the marker properly and chopped my hands off for messing with it.

after the marker was set up i didnt see anyone get it to bounce regardless of their efforts.

I will Gladly bring one to the next pa cup where anyone can come and see if they can get it to bounce.
This marker is the ultimate machine and yes its a cocker with a back block but its a cocker thats doesnt bounce..

As for it 'sucks'? A personal opinion.
quite possibly. but my reason behind it was that it wasnt very fast (probs cause it was on dry fire) and although the trigger has been changed, it still feels too magnety. You really had to work hard to get the demo one going. And no it wasnt just me cause most of the other peeps were firing slower.

i even tried bowens and wasnt impressed.

I think people think that the guns going alot faster because theres 2 or 3 different noises. and the back block moves back and forth fast. if you actually listen to the noise coming out of the barrel, its not that impressive.

we had a DM4 going full auto until it ran out of gas, was pretty cool
now that is cool.

facts

please mate if you are going to slate some thing get your facts right first. The reason the marker was so quiet is the e2 has a training mode which doesnt actully fire the marker just the cocking cycle goes round so it looks like you are shooting for reel so you can sit at home all day building your speed up now i think that is a good idea and i dont think any other marker does that . Like mark said though its your opion if you think that but the amount of people s faces that lit up when they had a fire of it and were so impressed with the detail and the style of the marker will speak for its self . love ya xx xx xx xx

i think you will find that any marker that has a trigger filter or a debounce or what ever you want to call it will have a tendancy to bounce if the filters are turned off! thats the whole point of filters....to reduce/remove the problem....surely a marker cannot be expected to be bounce free if the filters arnt on?
