Since everybody already accepts that any electro marker is capable of bounce, surely ANY form of gadgetry that REDUCES bounce is a good thing?
We picked up the E2 several times over the weekend and on one occasion it was pretty low on gas - yes, it bounced like crazy without even trying, but only for a few seconds before the gas ran low enough to prevent it from even cocking.
To me, this says that the bounce filters probably cannot eliminate bounce COMPLETELY, but they are better than having no filter at all. Besides, turn the bolt back the right way up, stick a hopper on it and fill it with paint... my money is on this baby not bouncing nearly as easily as some are making out.
For many people, bounce is just an annoying side-effect that you could do without - especially if you come across an over-enthusiastic chrono judge who won't let you on his field because he made 11 shots from 10 trigger pulls after spending an hour trying to find the sweet spot.... ... and for these people the bounce filter will be a godsend. It's all about balance - I'd rather be able to crank up a bounce filter slightly than have to fiddle with my trigger/lpr setup minutes before I'm due on a game just so I can get on the damn field...
The gun is light, it's fast (who was that guy who shot 22bps out of it?!) and it looks pretty damn good to boot. Cut 'em some slack!
