The most fun xball exhibition I have ever seen was the one where both teams played regardless who is going to win. Both sides executed the most agressive gameplay they would hardly did in a real game. But it was a fun and people asked, whauu, is it how they play it? Yes of course, this is the top paintball... :)

You just need players who can run through and dive all around.

The next step could be agreed games like you agree with the other team where they will leave a hole to help run through. But it kills fun on the players side.

staged game

staging a game to just show off the best bits will just look horible and pathetic it doesnt need to be done just play paintball and some one will run through and merc two or three players or trade out with the snake on the crowd side thats the nature of the game. dont stage games just practice so you can do it for real. there are some other good points about explaing the game but one of the biggest things that will help would be a good score board i know they cost around 1000 but it helps the players and the spectators it will ad a level of professionalism to it. my to pence but for the love of the game dont stage games to show off oooooo a run through!!!

The idea of staged game to demonstrate skills/moves is good, but can be taken too far. You want to show what this format of paintball is like to play, not put on an episode of eastenders. In short: lots of fancy runthroughs and dives, no drama.

Another thing you could do (I'm sure it's been mentioned) is a short one on one tournament. It's easier for spectators to follow because theres less going on, and the focus is only on two players.
