exactly what I mean....... ever get the "smoking is bad m'kay" speech from a teacher who smokers?
Hypocrites.
And you kind of prove my point........ oooh he smokes, he's really cool. It's what the cigarette advertisers rely on. Legalise a few others and smoking would vanish pretty quickly, it's expensive, antisocial and makes you smell like arse.... yes, drinking etc... is bad for you if you overdo it, but one cigarette is really bad for you, as for the positive effects? yes it's an upper the first couple of times, but after that you need one just to be level. By then the chemical need has kicked in. Why the hell do so many people still do it? human nature, same reason the majority of people buy coke (is it the best tasting drink?) and put ketchup on everything (what, no other sauces in existence) we've been convinced it's the thing to do, so we follow like sheep. We are all individuals, we're just led by the nose......... smoke, drink beer, eat McDonalds, drink coke, watch the footy. It's what you do........how many of your mates view you as "weird" when you say "no I missed the match, I was paintballing".
Anyway, I've got another word for men who spend their free-time watching other men play sports.

Screw it, keep smoking, it's what's expected, if the government admitted they weren't bothered and pulled the anti-smoking ads the number of youngsters doing it would drop. Then where would they get the tax from?
